In a land blessed by the gods with beauty,

There's a little swan who can dance gracefully.

The gods love to see him sway and turn,

On the magical lake with an elegant reflection.

"Dance, little swan," said the gods from above.

The swan will obey because to dance is to love.

In every leap and step he makes,

Will add attraction to the lake.

But little did the gods know,

The swan adores the moon.

He always gives his best as he dances,

Because it wasn't for the gods alone.

The dance was for the moon,

With a mesmerizing reflection.

That's why the swan was fond of its beauty,

For in the dark, it shines brightly.

But little swan is feeling sad and displeasure,

Because no matter how high he leaps,

No matter how lovely he twirls,

He can't reach the moon he treasure.

And then he decided to stop dancing,

For it doesn't make him reach his moon.

The lake is now empty and alone,

Because the swan lost its shine on its own.

The gods were worried and disappointed,

They can't see the swan dance anymore,

They discovered the reason and decided,

To let the swan experience how is it to be adored.

The gods let the moon come down,

In a form of a human so he can dance with the swan.

The swan was surprised and swoon,

As he transforms into a being that resembles the moon.

Together, they pace towards the magical lake,

That now reflects the enchantment that wasn't fake.

They danced and danced as time passes by,

That made the gods above smile.

But every enchantment has its limitation,

The magic of the gods has come to an end.

The moon should go back above,
For the world will fall if it won't ascend.

That saddens the swan,

As they part ways and end the dance.

But before they do, the swan stands on his tiptoes.

By doing so, he's able to kiss his moon.

The swan was contented by that

With just one night, he was with his moon.

He continued to dance again to please the aether,

And the gods promised to let them be together.

That's why sometimes, the moon disappears,

But you shouldn't be afraid or worry,

The moon simply descended,

To dance with the swan gracefully.
