⁂⁂⁂
This was a fairy tale,
But there wasn't a princess,
You were such a fine and dazzling prince,
But I am not a damsel in distress.I can protect, I can fight
I can even slay a dragon in sight,
All I can do is to protect the majesty,
Because it's the job of the knight. That's why we're not meant to be,
Because there's no fairy godmother in our story.
Not even an apple that makes you sleep eternally,
Or even a magical lamp that can spit a genie. All we had is this unexplainable feeling,
That seems magical yet dangerous.
It makes us feel that we can be one,
But also separate us when we're both jealous.Again, I still think that this is a fairy tale,
Because we have feelings that only us can understand.
But our social standing won't let us to be one,
Because I am just made of scrap and you were grand. We cannot pursue each other,
Since we're not bound to be together,
Yet this feeling we had was extraordinary,
It let us feel that we are born equally. That's why I assume this is still a fairy tale,
With no godmother, no genie, or even a damsel,
Just the dazzling prince and his marvelous knight.
Together, we'll unfold our story just right.⁂⁂⁂
