~Julia's Point of view~
I awake to the noise of a loud knock on my door. "Oh my gosh, what time is it?" I run to open the door. It's another maid around my age.
"Good morning, my name is Emily." She says with a big grin.
"Oh, nice to meet you Emily, my name is Julia. Did you need to tell me something?"
"Well I know you're new here, and I thought I might give you a heads up that Miss April will be coming very soon to see if you're ready yet. Because if you're not, you're going to get in big trouble." she tells me.
"Oh shoot! You're right, um thank you."
"No problem. Well I must be going now, see ya later." she says and waves goodbye.
I close the door and quickly get dressed. Once I'm done I rush to the door and am greeted by Miss April.
"I see you're dressed, and I'm sure you had breakfast already." Dang she caught me there.
"Um, yes. I did." I lie.
"Okay then. Now go deliver this to Prince Oliver, and bring him breakfast." She hands me a piece of paper.
"What is it?" I ask.
"It's his schedule for the day." She answers and leaves. I walk to his room and notice he's sitting on his bed with his head resting on his hands. He whispers something to himself. "I hate it, it's suffocating." What could he be talking about? He looks so sad. I lightly knock on the open door. He looks up and his expression quickly changes. He's smiling now.
"Oh Good morning Your Majesty. I hope I'm not disturbing you, may I come in?"
"Yes, come in. Did you need to tell me something?" He answers. I reach over and hand him a piece of paper. "Oh, is this a love letter?" He says with a giggle.
"No, I was told to follow you around today and give you your schedule." I tell him. He starts reading it and folds it up again. "Oh, I just remembered I need to go get you breakfast. I'll be right back." I curtsey, then leave. I rush to the kitchen and grab the tray a chef hands me and return to his room. "I'm here." I tell him. I place the tray on the table in his room then wait by it. He walks to the table and takes a seat.
Oh boy, that food looks so good, I say to myself. Before he starts eating he stops and looks at me. Oh no, is something wrong. He lets out a chuckle then asks, "Have you eaten yet?"
"oh, um no. I woke up too late so I had to rush here." I say sheepishly. It's all because of Miss April.
"Well I'm not very hungry, so you should finish this for me."
"Realy!?" I shout. A little to exited.
"Yeah, enjoy." He says and pushes the plate to me. I take a seat and start eating right away. Wow! I didn't think food could taste so good. I mean all I got to eat with the assassins was some porridge and sometimes some sausages. I didn't even notice a few strands of hair fall loose in front of my face, until he reachs out and pushes them behind my ear. I stop and look up at him. His eyes glistening in the morning light, I quickly say "Thanks." and go back to eating. After I finish he says "Come lets get going. I have a lot to do today."
"Yes, of course." We then walk to training grounds, where we are greeted by knights and guards training.
"You can go wait over there by that tree in the shade while I train." he tells me. I node and walk over there. As I'm waiting I watch him train. He starts to build up a sweat and I get quite flustered. Then I notice Kane and so I wave at him to get his attention. He looks at me and walks over with a smile. "Hey, how's it going?" Kane says.
"Good, but Miss April is a pain." I say.
He laughs. "Well I'm glad that's your only problem."
"Yeah" I say with a chuckle. "I hope so."
Also, I was talking to Manager Ty and he says that he'll tell me when you need to do the deed." He says.
"Okay, I hope I don't mess it up." I say nervously.
"I'm sure you'll do fine."
"Thanks. Oh, by the way, you know the General here?"
"Yeah, what about him?"
"Well I saw him with Miss April and they were kissing." I whisper.
"Are you serious!?" he says trying to stay quiet.
"That's hilarious!" We both burst out laughing.
"Well I should be going now, see ya later Julia," he teases.
"Okay, bye". He walks away with the other knights and once they're all gone Oliver walks over to me.
"Hey, I want to practice a little longer here."
"Okay. Are you going to practice alone or do you want a partner?" I ask.
"Are you serious? You couldn't hurt a fly if you wanted to. I mean look at you, you're so small." He says bursting out laughing.
"You don't know what your talking about, I'm very good at fighting!" I tell him with an upset look.
"OK, ok, why don't we see how good you are."
"Great, let's do this." We walk over to the weapon rack and he passes me a wooden sword, and he takes one as well. We take our positions.
"Come on Julia, you can't beat me."
"Oh are you so sure about that?"
He smirks playfully. "Maybe. Okay! Let's start." he says confedently. He starts off going a little easy but I show him that's unessasarly and almost get him down. Then without him noticing I knick his sword out of his hand.
"Wow, impressive." he says.
"Well I thought you would have been a lot better then this." I tell him and laugh.
Out of nowhere he moves in quickly, pushes my sword away and pins me to the ground. "I told you, you can't beat the beater."
We stay there quiet with only our breathing being heard for a little bit. He moves a little closer until we're inches apart. I don't know what to do. I suddenly hear people coming, we quickly get up and try to act normal. Then we see his step mother the Queen and a few other people coming our way...
