San narrowed his sparkly glittering eyes and glared down at the pitiful shivering form defiantly glaring back. He leaned forward and reached into his coat. "You'll obey my orders . . . or you can Answer to Mr. McPlushie!" He whipped out a green stuffed dinosaur wearing a tuxedo and glasses and held it out in front of him angrily, but before he could make another move, he realized they we're not the only two in the clearing. He sensed a presence lurking in the shadows. Someone was watching.
San growled inwardly and straightened, scanning the surroundings. "Who's there? I know your hiding, you lurker, come out!" A deep chuckle sounded from the nearby ally and a tall, dark, cloaked figure stepped out from the shadows. Kai tore off his hood and lifted his head, a smirk slowly crawling across his face. "Mr. McPlushie is no match for me or my forces. My Moa has no concern taking orders from you." He said in a high pitched voice (contradicting his previous deep chuckle.)
He stepped aside and the Moa scrambled up and slipped past him into the night, pausing only to get an autograph from her idol and complementing his hair. San glared at him, pure hatred smoldering in his glittery sparkling eyes. His grip on Mr. McPlushie tightened, and he lifted the dinosaur to pet it on the head. "Prove it!" He cried, tears welling up in the corners of his eyes. Those word had hit him harder than anything else. "Prove you're a match for anything other than that worthless pet frog water-vaporizer thing you have in your room!" Kai's sparkly glittering eyes darkened angrily as he raised one hand. Plushies of all shapes, sizes and colors appeared out of the shadows, slithering up the walls and spreading out.
They glared murderously with eyes that also sparkled and glittered in the faded city lights. San gasped and stumbled back as more and more filtered through, crawling out of windows, pipes and manholes, slowly gathering to surround him. Several large dog plushies happily shuffled out of the darkest shadows and began rolling around play-fighting with Kais untied shoelaces.
San flinched and stepped back a pace, crashing into a giant unicorn behind him. "NO! AN ARMY OF PLUSHIES! HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?" He cried, scrambling around and backing up against a brick wall. Kai smiled down wickedly (except he couldn't do that if his life depended on it, so it was more of a sweet cheerful smile) at the unicorn plushie in his arms.
"Long ago, I came across a-" San jumped up with a victorious cry and stuffed Mr. McPlushie back into his coat before he raised his hands to the sky. Kai stuttered mid sentence, confused as lighting began to crack and zap in Sans hands. "No one wants to hear your boring weepy stories of the past! You thought you were so powerful," he laughed, "But all along, I've been in the lead, playing you until this last moment so I could see the look of fear and impending doom spread over your evil perfect face." A lightning ball exploded into his hands and illuminated his face. But before either San or Kai could move, Sans lightning sizzled out, and Kais plushies froze. Footsteps sounded from the ally. San and Kai gasped, and their attention immediately diverted from each other to the newcomer.
Lee Felix stepped out of the shadows. Head down and hands in his pockets, his silver bangs covering his eyes, he casually, step by step, made his way to the space between San and his arch enemy. He glanced left and right, his (also glittery sparkling) eyes missing nothing, before scoffing a short laugh and turning his back to both. "Neither of you have the upper hand here." He growled in a voice legitimately deeper than all the love of the Stays for him put together so thats pretty freaking deep.
The moment his back was turned Kai and San lunged for him, arms outstretched, lighting plushies streaming out behind them. But before either of them could even get close, they both face planted into the ground. Felix stopped and glanced over his shoulder. The corner of his mouth twitched into the beginning of a smile. "You should have taken my advice. I know you watch my Pops in Seoul. You should have known."
He then turned back into the ally he came from where Hyunjin, Seungmin, Bangchan and the rest of Stray Kids melted out of the shadows, waiting for him. "Always double knot your shoe-laces." Rain began to fall, the pitter-patter growing faster and faster, cancelling the silence. Then Felix vanished into the nights darkness with his comrades, leaving Kai, San and their plushies lying wet, bruised and beaten on the cold stone ground.
