Chapter Two

I woke up to my alarm waking me up at 7am. I hurled myself out of bed to get dressed and make some breakfast. Mom and dad were at work meaning that we would have to send Gregory to the daycare, aka my new job.

I woke him up and made breakfast for him too. Once he was done getting dressed we made our way to the Mega Plex. We got there shortly and made our way to the daycare. I signed him in and checked in with the front desk lady and clocked in. She showed me all the buttons and their meanings. She also told me that I would also get a party pass that goes anywhere.

She then explained how things work and when we will have the 'Lights Out Game'. And the first one is going to be tomorrow.

Now the work part starts. All I had to do was play with kids, make sure they don't get hurt or lost. Very easy, nothing I can't handle. I looked at the huge play place that was in the daycare. Yeah no wonder the kids get worn out easily.

Going over to a crowded area of children, just to watch over them seeing they all are entranced by themselves, I feel some hands grab my waist.

"Helllloo!! Why I didn't know you'd start this early! So glad to see a familiar face yes yes!" The kids then turned their heads to the pair.

"Oh I just bet you wanted me here sooner, huh?" I tease as I turn towards him.

"That's funny you say that! All you couldn't do is resist me!"

"Oh really I can't resist you? You're the one who didn't answer my question last time we met, now have you?"

Sun stood in silence, before glancing over to the children and letting go of me. "Not yet I won't!" he joked, hopefully. As he walked off to the children, "Kids kids let's go make a puppet show! I have just the idea!"

As he walked off I stood there in wonder. What the hell could that mean? I continued doing my job and noticed a circle forming around Sun. I walked over in curiosity and he was telling a story.

"Now my children, some of you have heard this story, some of you haven't. But that doesn't matter! This is the story of the Moondrop. Very similar to my name huh?" Some kids nodded as they made the connections. "Now, Moondrop is not a very kind man you see, not good at all. The crazy thing is, he looks exactly like me! BUT! He is very different in so much of our clothing you see. He has dark colors like purples blues and blacks. While I have yellows and oranges. We have very different personalities too!

"It's said that he only comes when the lights are out. Then he tries to catch kids, and he even sometimes drags them into the ball pit!"

"Wait then! where are you when Moondrop comes?" I clueless kid says. They are the same person duh.

"Me? Oh I don't like Moon. I get very sleepy, this why I'm up during the day. That's why we keep the lights on!" Told ya.

Sun notices me and I wink at him, just a little tease. His mask then spins. Oh so he liked that? I looked over to where Gregory was. He was doing a craft, with...glitter glue. Can't wait to scrub that off his hands.

I was patrolling the kids from the corner where I could see everything. Things seem to go pretty smooth. It was almost 12:30. The time kids have lunch. I saw them all go to their backpacks to get their sacked lunch and run to get a seat at the small plastic tables.
