Chapter Six

~Friday~

It was now day 2 of my night shift. I had yet again brought some energy drinks and coffee. I said goodbye to my family before heading out. I got to the Pizza Plex and this time avoiding the caution signs.

I went to the daycare and clocked into work. I looked around to see if Moon was anywhere around. From what I could see he wasn't here. I opened the cameras on the computer to see if anything was on them. Nope nothing but the security robots.

They were a little creepy but oh well. I felt an arm go around my shoulders, so there he is. "Hey Moon."

I saw him lift up his mask from the corner of my eye. I was about to turn around to see what he was doing but then I felt his lips on my cheek. How adorable.

"Hello y/n. How are you feeling?" He looked me in my eyes now, fixing his mask.

"I'm feeling pretty good, I took a 5 hour nap before I got here. How are you feeling?"

"I'm doing better now that you're here. That's good that you took a nap, now we won't wake up at 5 this time...maybe." I rolled my eyes at his sly comment.

"Alright now, how about you be a good boy and start doing your job." I patted him on the shoulders and grabbed a flashlight and walked away. I soon walk over to the ball pit, walking around the rim of it.

I looked behind me and oh wouldn't you know, it was Moon following me. Again. "What is it this time? Looking at this ass again?" He shook his head no and just walked over to me saying nothing.

He picked me up and hoisted me over his shoulder. He made his way to the side of the jungle gym and started climb up to the top again. When we got there he just laid me down and laid next to me.

I didn't notice at first but there were fake stars on the ceiling. "So why are we looking at stars?"

"Why not. Also gives us something to do, night shifts are always boring. They were even more boring when you weren't here." He said as he pulled me in his arms. I cuddled into his side. "Sometimes when the kids are napping they dim the lights slightly so you can see the stars on the ceiling."

"Well that's nice of them." I didn't have anything else to say about that, what even are you supposed to say in that situation.

We just laid there looking at the stars. It was a very calm environment and was starting to get me sleepy. What made it worse was that he then started to play with my hair. "Keep this up and I will fall asleep." I said to him,

"Oh no. Guess you'll just have to fall asleep then darling~." I lightly punch the side of his arm. "Oh but you just love laying on me, I mean you were just complaining how you were getting tired and yet you're still here. Clingy much?"

"Me? I'm the clingy one? You were the one to bring me up here. You were also the one who put me in your arms."

"Oh but then you came closer to me there for you are the clingy one, love."

"You're wrong, I'm right, deal with it."

"Oh that's not the only thing you'll be dealing with tonight." He whispered in my ear.
