She thought about the stars that night.

She remembered something she'd read about the cycle of stars.
"Three."
It was called a supernova. She smiled as her eyes drooped to a close.
"Two."
Dying stars create the biggest explosion humankind has ever seen, with a light that seems to touch every corner of the universe.
"One."
And just like a supernova, Iya had touched someone else's life on her very last days on earth. Because in the end, even stars have to die. But what a beautiful way to do just that.
