Chapter Two
His Guardian Angel lived in the middle of nowhere.
She'd driven at least half an hour away from where he'd been loitering downtown and they'd reached the suburbs.
"Do you have a name?" Shayne finally works up the courage to ask. The woman next to him was strikingly beautiful with blue-greyish eyes and long, sleek, raven hair. Her figure was currently concealed by a heavy fur coat, but he had no trouble using his imagination.
"You may call me Ms. Briar," she replies, looking him over once more. In truth, there was no way this girl was more than five years older than him, but Shayne had an air of naivity about him. After all, he'd just climbed into a complete stranger's car and was on his way to her house. That said, "Ms. Briar" felt she was much to mature to let herself on first names basis with this man-child. Especially not with what she had planned for him.
Ms. Briar's house was past a gated community, located in the very back at the end of a long drive way. The house back to woodland as well as the surrounding area. It was a new house, designed after a lodge-like cabin.
Truthfully, Shayne thought it was rather small for a woman who appeared to have as much money and power that Ms. Briar had.
"We're here," she announed, stepping out of the car. Shayne climbed out after her, but not before watching her long legs straighten after being cramped for the drive over. He swallowed, his adam's apple bobbing. Ms. Briar pretended she didn't noticed and unlocked the door, letting the stranger into her house. She saw him shift to hide himself, and pretended not to notice that either.
She was definantly about to have fun with this boy.
