Chapter 5
Olivia Briar stared at him a long time, waiting for his response. She hadn't known when she'd invited him to her house, but looking at him, she knew he'd be a good sub.
"The decision is easier if you don't think about it too long," Olivia said to him.
He shot her a look, "This coming from a business woman?"
She shrugged, "I have an errand to run. Would you like to stay in the car?"
"You aren't going to wait for my answer?" He questioned. This seemed like a fairly important discussion they needed to have. She hadn't really expected him to just sign a formal contract signing his life to her on the spot had she.
He was homeless, not desperate.
"I don't have the time to wait on you," she sighed, "It might take you an hour, or it might take you days. Either way, I suggest you read through the entire contract before signing it. Would you like to wait in the car while I run in?"
He nodded and she left the car running, headed towards the store. He read through the contract again. For the most part, it was a confidentiality agreement. The term was for a year, which seemed like a long time to pretty much belong to someone. Also, the term sex slave appeared in it a lot, and he wasn't sure how much he liked the term.
By the time Olivia was back, he had an answer. He looked at her, truly took her in. He'd been scared to notice all of her at once before, but now, he saw her full lips, voluptuous chest, the hint of muscle in her arms. Her grey-blue eyes stabbed into his soul, waiting for an answer.
"Can I test this with you?" he asked, "I just want to know what it would be like."
She contemplated, "Okay, fine. Sign the contract and in twenty-four hours, if you don't like this idea, I'll burn it and drop you wherever you want to go."
He was comforted by the idea, "Okay."
They drove back to the house and Shayne continued to wonder exactly how all this would work. The fact Olivia Briar already just had a contract on her suggested she'd done this before and knew what she was doing. Shayne walked back to the room he'd been staying and and laid on the bed.
"Shayne," her voice commanded his attention, "If you intend to stay here permanently, feel free, but I'll need you to have your stuff upstairs in another room.
"Okay," he didn't have much to move anyway. She left and he sat wondering how she intended to proceed. Uninformed and misguided, Shayne walked into the kitchen, where she was waiting, and kissed her.
