It was colder and of course snow kept falling in a slight amount.

Sarawat stuffed his hands into the pockets of the jacket. It was the usual busy new york city except that it was decorated everywhere, it's Christmas Eve. New York City looked like a rich lady who liked to show off her exceptional beauty with more decorations added to it.

Ice rinks settled up and both adults and children were enjoying every bit of this eve as much as they can. Despite the age difference, everyone looked like youngsters and kids enjoying the Eve.

Sarawat smiled back to everyone who smiled at him, stranger or not,some randomly wished eachother a Happy Christmas. Sarawat was also out here to buy something to celebrate the Christmas Eve alone. Living away from parents for job is already enough, it was his sister who insisted on him to celebrate Christmas even if all his friends will be with their own families and he'll be alone.

"Carefull"Sarawat suddenly reached out and hold a little girl who was skating through the snow covered footpath and she blushed slightly and grinned.

"Thanks. Happy Christmas Eve"the little one said balancing herself and Sarawat let go and waved at her.

"Happy Christmas Eve"he turned around and watched her going a little more before removing her shoes amd running to a young men around Sarawat's age who hold her hand and patted her head.

Sarawat smiled as he remembered his sister who's only 13now and is at home with their parents.

Sarawat quickly turned around and walked further. Christmas songs were heard from the shops, everything looked beautiful and shiny. He couldn't help but capture the views in his camera to send them to his sister who is wishing to see snow with him someday.

He didn't regretted the walk, around him was views that gave warmth to his heart despite the cold weather. Families out for shopping and enjoying, couples just walking side by side trying to be warmth as they smiled and laughed in their own world,kids randomly playing with eachother and teenagers and adults dressed up as Santa Claus and Angels pretending to bless the kids and gave them tiny gifts to which they smiled wholeheartedly.

It's a pity that not every day is like this,so it's the best to enjoy while you still can. Sarawat sighed as he walked into a store.

After getting a fine wine for the night and Fruit cake he paid for it.

"Happy Christmas, you look especially good on this Eve. Have a nice day"The young woman wished playfully and Sarawat chuckled.

"You look great yourself,young miss. Happy Christmas"he said before walking out of the store. Some stores were especially setted up for Christmas day.

He decided to walk than catching a taxi although he regretted not putting on a cap. He ran fingers through his soft hair that felt cold. He frowned as his phone began to ring and reached out for his phone from pocket and his lips stretched to form a warm smile seeing it was his sister.

"Hey, little"Sarawat grinned seeing his sister's smile in the screen, she was in the kitchen with mom, probably Baking cake.

"Phi, we're making fruit cake. Have you brought one?"she asked excitedly and Sarawat smiled as he raised his hand holding the bag.

"I just brought one and I'm walking home"Sarawat said as he turned on the back camera to show her the snow covered streets and people out there in joy.

"Whoaaa, it looks so amazing there,phi. So sad that I'm not there"She pouted and Sarawat chuckled.
