"So what are we doing today, Miec?"
'I don't know. What if we-'
A jumped a little when they felt her phone vibrate in her pocket, making Stiles smile and holdback a laugh. She shook her head and grabbed her phone.
"Yo."
'Missing something?'
She raised her eyebrow, confused. Stiles mouthed who is it and she just shook her head.
"Um no?"
'Aukai, you were supposed to come train today.'
"Fuck."
She sighed and put her hand over her mouth. Stiles grabbed the phone and started talking to Chris. Then they said their goodbyes and Stiles hung up, putting her phone back in her pocket. He kissed her forehead and got her to get up. Then he drove her over to the Argents and they both got out.
"What are you doing?"
'I'm going with you.'
"Why?"
'To make sure nothing happens.'
"You don't trust us?"
'I don't know the Argents like I know you.'
"I know. But we trust Allison and Mr. Argent is helping me with the whole Siren thing."
She said as she knocked on the door while looking at Stiles. She gave him a reassuring smile and kissed his cheek, making him smile and blush as the door opened.
'Hey guys. What are you doing here?'
"Hey Alli. Your dad invited me over, Stiles decided to tag along."
'Oh ok. He's in the kitchen.'
She moved out the way so the couple could walk in, Aukai thanking her friend and going to the kitchen.
"Hey Mr. Argent."
'You can call me Chris, kid.'
"Nope."
The boys looked at her weird, confused on why she so confidently refused. She looked at them and nodded, not realizing it was weird.
"I get uncomfortable calling my friends' parents by their first names. So until I come up with a nickname, you're Mr. Argent."
'Alright. Let's go train then.'
Chris started walking down to the basement where a gym was set up, Aukai amazed by how good it looked. Then they trained with fighting styles and how to work on her siren powers.
🖤
'You alright, kid?'
Chris looked at the panting girl lying on the floor. She gave him a thumbs up while trying to catch her breath, making the boys laugh a little. After a while of her breathing being at the same, panting pace she started coughing. Stiles kneeled down beside her and patted her back, eventually getting her to cough up a bunch of water. The boys look at each other, shock written on their faces as Aukai started freaking out, a panic attack arising. She sat up and started backing up into Stiles, staring at the water with pure fear. Stiles held her tight and whispered soothing, calming stuff to her as Chris got rid of the water for her to calm down.
'Shh, shh, shh. You're alright baby, just breathe.'
He kissed her cheeks until she breathed normal and laughed.
'Good news or bad news?'
The couple looked up at Chris and A gave him a thumbs down, asking for the bad news first.
'You're going to be coughing up water a lot. At least twice a day. And unless you like panic attacks I suggest you find a way to stop them faster or prevent them all together while you're ahead.'
The girl sighed and laid her head against Stiles' chest, closing her eyes and starting to stress about it all.
'What about the good news?'
'We're almost done with training. There's only so much we know about sirens and she's learned three quarters of it by now. Also we're done for today.'
Chris held out his hands to pull the teens to their feet, getting a hug as a thank you from Aukai. Ever since he explained she was a siren and they spent time together she started to make her way into his life like a daughter, and he did the same to her like a father. Chris walked the kids out to Stiles' jeep and waved bye as they drove off. After a couple minutes of driving and talking her phone went off, she answered and put it on speaker.
"Wassup?"
'Hey Derek wants you to be here for dinner.'
"How do I know I can trust it's not a set up?"
'You don't trust me?'
"Of course I do Lahey. But I know you and I know you would help Derek set up a trap to get me and Peter in the same place."
Woah, she just called him Peter. She never calls him Peter so easily. Stiles glanced at her when it rolled off her tongue so easily, that man really messed her up to where she would call him Peter.
'Come on, please? You can bring Stiles and Scott if you want. Even the girls! Derek just really misses having you here. We both do.'
"Alright fine. But I swear to god if he tries anything-"
'We know you'll do what you did or worse the day they walked in on you and Stilinski.'
The couple looked straight in each other's eyes when they heard that, blush making their faces hot.
"Oh I'm so going to kill whoever told you that."
'It was both so have fun with that.'
"I will. And we weren't doing anything like that. We were just making out."
'Hey whatever you say.'
"Bye Lahey."
'See ya boo.'
He hung up and A shook her head and out her hands on her face. She just dragged not only her but hopefully Scott and Stiles into a destined to be awkward and probably awful dinner. When they pulled up to the Stilinski house and Aukai saw Noah's car there she jumped out of the jeep, leaving her boyfriend in the dust and ran in the house to see the Sheriff just drinking milk. He smiled when he saw her and set down his milk before she continued to run up to him and hug him. They hugged each other tight, their bond grown even stronger now that she was comfortable enough to call him Noah. Stiles walks in and throws his hands up in the air, dramatically.
'Oh so he gets hugs but I don't? Instead I get dragged to some weird dinner party?'
