there they were, walking hand in hand through the night of tokyo together. a old lady came up walking towards them and she smiled purely when she looked at the two lovers holding hands. the old lady tapped the shoulder of her husband, mumbling something to him. her husband smiled at her as they walked towards the lovers.
"お二人は美しく見えます一緒" the old lady said with a smile and chan felt himself blush as his ears got read. the husband laughed and gave chan and chaeri a thumbs up and said "愛し続け、支え続けます お互い 長い間" and walked away. "what did they said?" chaeri asking chan out of curiosity because chan was a blushing mess.
"the lady said that we two look beautiful together and the husband said 'keep loving and supporting each other for a long time'" chan explained to chaeri who was also blushing now. a soft 'oh' left chaeri's mouth as they continued to walk through the night.
"come i wanted to take you to the Tsuruoka Park" chan said as he walked towards the way the park is.
"woah- chan this is so pretty!" chaeri said happily as she looked around. she turned around to look at all the blooming cherry blossoms and other diverse flowers. her smile was so bright it lights up chan's heart as he smiled brightly himself. "not prettier then you" chan said with a loving smile, adoring his lover being happy.
chan stepped closer to her, taking her hands in his while gathering his courage to confess to her. chaeri felt herself blush as she stood so close to him and shook her head as a response when chan called out her name.
"in the past weeks we've been spending together i couldn't help but grow feelings for you. even before coming here to tokyo with you you were on my mind the whole time" chan said as he looked around to find words that he could say out.
"i'm really sad we're leaving tokyo tomorrow but we'll have a great time in malaysia too, i'm sure about that. seeing you happy made me feel so good, your smile made me smile and you being excited made me feel so happy"
chan continued to list all the things he wanted chaeri to hear and understand how he felt. chaeri had to hide her bright smile as she looked up to avoid blushing. she lightly slapped his chest as he made her feel butterflies again.
"i just wanted to confess that i'm in love with you and i honestly want to spend my life together with you. you've been understanding of my feelings and just, looked out for me even when i acted a little cold towards you in the start. so i wanted to ask you here, on our last day in tokyo, do you wanna go out with me?" chan poured all his emotions out as he waited nervously for chaeri response.
chaeri smiled as she nodded and said "chan i would love too, i must say that i was always interested in you but i just didn't know how to approach you. i guess i used that shoulder bumping apology as a advantage". chan laughed loudly when she said that because he thought it was true.
"look where one apology has brought us chan, i'm happy for that moment" chaeri said as she cupped his cheeks in her hands. chan felt himself blush as he leaned closer to capture her lips into his. a soft but sweet kiss which led both of them to feel tons of fireworks.
"let's come here back one day chaeri, as a anniversary" chan said excited while plopping a kiss on her cheek. "i'm sad we're leaving this beautiful place, now let's onto malaysia!"
"i'm sure it will be fun here, you asked me here in tokyo to be your girlfriend, what are you gonna ask there?" chaeri said laughing and looked up to her lover who was smirking. "why are you smirking?" chaeri asked confused but also curious as she wanted fo know what was on chan's mind.
"i'm gonna ask your hand for marriage"
