Christmas Day | Chapter 20

It was now Christmas day, and just like every child when it was Christmas, Atreus jumped on Kris' and Ralsei's bed waking them up.

Atreus: Santa came!

Kris: *yawn* Did he?

Atreus: Yeah!

Kris: That's lovely, well go get ready to open them and let us get up.

Atreus: Ok!

Atreus jumped off the bed running back to his room and allowing Kris and Ralsei to get up.

Ralsei: Why does he have to do it every year?

Kris: Because every child does that, and I don't think he'll stop, not until he's grown up, which will be years. Let's get up now, I'm sure he can't wait to open them.

Kris sat up and got out of bed, and Ralsei took an extra minute after putting his glasses on, they headed down stairs and Atreus came into the living room where they were waiting where Kris and Ralsei were. They watched him happily open his presets and were glad to see him happy getting what he wanted. (Oh this is so sweet! It hurts my heart! I'm going to die here!)

When Atreus had opened all of their presents from Santa, Kris got up and took the presents from under the tree and handed them out. They slowly made their way through them and when they were done Kris got up and made breakfast for them. Kris brought it into them and they ate it together and when they were done Kris took the plates back into the kitchen.

Kris then heard a knock on the door and answered the door, it was just someone holding a present and Kris looked at the hands holding it and it was Susie.

Kris: Sup Susie.

Susie: How'd you know it was me?

Kris: Did you forget I can see your hands?

Susie: Oh, shoot, well Gaster wanted me to drop this off for Ralsei and Atreus, it's the vests.

Kris: Oh, are they safe this time?

Susie: Yes, he said he fixed the problem and will work now.

Kris: Good, don't want another Halloween incident.

Susie: I think he said there was something for you as well, but he wouldn't tell me.

Kris: Give it here then.

Susie: Well be careful it is heavy, even i'm struggling lifting it.

Kris: Don't worry, I got it.

Susie handed the present to Kris and Kris held it with ease, and just put it down on the ground behind them.

Susie: What!? How'd you lift that so easily?

Kris: I've been working out.

Susie: Huh, never expected you to do that, well how is Atreus?

Kris: I'll go get him and you can see for himself.

Kris went and got Atreus and once Kris said Susie's name Atreus instantly got off the floor and ran towards the front door. Susie knelt down for a hug and picked Atreus up instead.

Susie: There's the king!

Atreus: The king of what?

Susie: Cuteness of course!

Atreus: Dad! Look at me! I'm the king of cuteness!

Kris: Oh no! Please don't banish me!

Susie: Should we banish them?

Atreus: Yeah! I banish you to clean my room!

Kris: Noooo! Anything but that! Please! Have mercy!
