THIS WORLD'S SON | Chapter 32

Noelle: Are you two ok?

Atreus: For now, but the morse code man has control Kris, Susie, Ralsei and Gaster. And he's at the castle right now in the basement. I don't know if he'll let the king out but hopefully he doesn't.

Noelle: Susie?

Atreus: Yes, and i'm sorry, but I don't think he'll stop there.

Noelle: How did you two escape?

Atreus: Ralsei's old dog Fluffy came out of nowhere and bit him allowing us to escape.

They then heard screams coming from outside followed by an evil laugh that would haunt minds. They looked out the window and saw many different people try to stop him but they were no match for Kris' strength and their sword. And the more people would fall the more would be recruited.

And only after an hour everyone in the dark world had been converted, they knew they had to do something but how could they stop an unstoppable force?

Ash: How are we going to fight him? I don't know how to fight, Atreus?

Atreus: No, it's too risky, if I turned NEO and I lost then the world would truly end.

Noelle: I can.

Atreus: Noelle?

Noelle: I still have snowgrave.

Ash: But you said you can't use that.

Noelle: I know, but I want to die trying then doing nothing when I know I can help. Don't follow me, hopefully this will stop him.

Noelle walked off and put the ring on, it hurt her SOUL and mind but carried on without caring if it did hurt her. She left the house and the others watched, she walked over to everyone who had been converted.

She used snowgrave and it encased everyone in a big cube of ice. She sighed with relief and started to walk back home while taking the ring off, but then she heard the ice begin to shatter. She turned around and saw the ice break, the sentinel just laughed and converted her too.

Atreus, Thea and Ash were the only ones left, they stayed quiet thinking about what to do. But then Thea noticed something, the entrance was back and she told the others who were sitting on the floor in silence.

Thea: Look, it's back, maybe we could get out.

Ash: How? They look to be guarding it.

Thea: Hmm, Ash I need to talk to you quickly.

Ash: O-Oh, ok.

Thea and Ash walk off while Atreus continues to watch what everyone was doing.

Thea: You care about Atreus right?

Ash: Of course! They saved me and made me change my ways. I don't know what i'll do without him.

Thea: Same here, but how do you feel about sacrificing yourself to save him? Or to get him up to the light world?

Ash: I would happily, I still owe him.

Thea: Ok, well how about when he runs over we defend and he goes into the entrance alone, that should give him enough time to get out.

Ash: I don't know who to fight.

Thea: That's ok, just think of a weapon and you should get it, ask the narrator.

Ash: Oh, um, ok. Narrator? Can I have a weapon?

Sure! Sending some your way! Good luck.

Thea: Wait, can't you stop him?
