*two days later*

Hoseok hands to Jennie, Jungkook and Jimin their share 12k in an envelope. Excitement and astonishment filled their bodies as they held a half a year or even close to a year's worth of salary in their palms. 12k in just one month?

"Well, there's my end of the bargain. You guys helped us out extremely during the drug bust and honestly, I am grateful and thankful. Consider this as a going away present since this is your last day here." Hoseok told them, leaning back in his chair.

He couldn't lie and say he wasn't the tiniest bit of sad that this could possibly be the last time seeing the three of them. They really was a huge help to the team.

Happy faces fell off slowly like a melting candle when they heard Hoseok's last sentence. Last day here? Will this really be their last day?

To Jimin, it was all about money. He has been fighting with himself mentally about leaving as soon as the cash was in his hand but after meeting the people here and how nice they were, would he really trade it all to get his boring repetitive lifestyle back?

To Jungkook and Jennie, it really wasn't about the money. Money was just the cherry on top. After losing their bartender jobs, it felt like something was missing in their lives. Granted, the gay bar was very gross and not fun at times, but it was their only piece of excitement in their lives. When they became apart of the mafia temporarily, it felt thrilling, something new happened each day instead of the same old pattern.

"I-I don't want to leave!" Jungkook blurted, clenching on the envelope and holding it against his chest. "Y'all are slowly becoming a family to me, it wouldn't feel right to just leave."

Jimin dropped his head, ashamed of himself that what his brother is saying was right.

"I've made such great friends here, if I leave, if we leave, I wouldn't be able to see y'all as much again." Jennie said, her eyes watering a bit as she looked all around the room to blink them away.

Hoseok smiled, probably the biggest he's ever done since he met them, at their confession. "I am happy that you guys want to be apart of our group. The extra help would be much amazing."

The three smiled at their new leader and slightly bowed at him for curtesy. They thanked Hoseok simultaneously before walking out of his office with a lighten heart.

"Wait, if we are deciding to do this, what about our jobs?" Jimin pointed out, looking at his friends.

"Just quit it. We just made what we make in several months in a few weeks." Jungkook said, opening his envelope.

"I don't know, maybe we should just keep it so we have something to fall back on."

Jungkook hummed. "Well, I might quit my job. I've been trying to find a reason and now..." He lifts up his stack of cash. "I got one."

Jimin rolled his eyes and chuckled a bit.

"I don't have to rely on my parents for tuition money anymore. With this, I would be able to pay so many of my fees!" Jennie said excitingly, hugging the piece of paper as if it would go away.

"I am proud of us. Bring it in." Jungkook walked towards the other two and pulled them into a group hug. Freed from their constant lives into something worth while.

*later that night*

"Hey, I found something." Jin announced, his right hand moving crazily around the mouse pad as he was clicking.

Taeyeon rolled her chair near him and peered over to see the screen. It was the location of the two trucks that ambushed Hyuna, Jisoo and Chaeyoung.

"That's where they came from?" Taeyeon questioned, her eyes wander across the information. It seemed foreign to her.

"It's an abandoned truck yard. This group most likely park their trucks over there instead of at their headquarters so no one would suspect where they are located."

"Well.. about this group.. " Taeyeon trailed off.

Jin looked at her and raised an eyebrow, signaling her to continue.

"This group is the Void."

Jin's eyes widen and his mouth went agape. "No.. that means.."

"Yes, this is Yoongi's ex group. The one who gave away our last location and killed three of our members."

"Why the fuck would she try to come back after all these years?" Jin asked angrily, going back to his screen to copy and paste their truck yard address.

"I don't know but that's not all I found." Taeyeon rolled back to her computer station and turned the monitor so Jin could see. It was the Void's profile based from the HUB's database.

"Apparently they are partners with the Forseekers, the one that started the bar shooting last month. I am not sure if they were in on the shooting but they have worked together multiple times in the past with previous missions. What I don't understand is why they tried to attack Jungkook's job building a week after the shooting."

Jin tried to think. Did they knew we was on to them so they planned another bounty to see if we would go after them? Was the whole corporation situation a hoax to lure us into the next step of their plan? That wouldn't be right because we had a bounty to take down that guy.

Jin's brain was starting to hurt from trying to come up with possible solutions but all he was met was with loose ends.

"Wha-What about the gang that held the drug bust? How did they know us and the Void was going to be over there?" Jin inquired, rubbing his temples.

"I checked sources about the Untamed and I can only predict that they have ties to the Forseekers back from the bar shooting. Maybe that group talked to the Untamed about their drugs and negotiated with them? I don't know, everything is just one big mess."

"Well, what do we need to do? Our location is basically tainted again and we can't go out to accept other jobs if they are just going to overhear it."

"I say we go to the bitch's spot and take them on." Jessi pops in from the stairs, she was at the bottom step when she heard the last bit of their conversation.

"Wouldn't that be risky? We are just challenging them head on at this point." Taeyeon said worriedly, going back on her computer to search for the Void's address.

Jessi walked over to the techs and head pat Taeyeon. "They have been one upping us from the start. It's like Jin said, if we continue to ignore this, they would just be right behind our asses and kill the reminder of us. We need to finish this once and for all."

Chaeyoung leaned away from the railing after hearing Jessi proposal. All of this is still very strange to the mother because of how they are popping back up in their radar after three years but to her, somethings are slowly adding up.

Chaeyoung doesn't think Min Yoongi is just some bounty.

Chaeyoung thinks Yoongi's ex wants Hoseok's group to fall as some sort of revenge.

And Chaeyoung does not like this at all.
