Jennie quickly rushed around back after putting her bookbag inside the warehouse to meet Lisa for their first day of training. She turned around the corner and saw her partner still setting up a table that has a couple guns laid neatly in line. The younger heard footsteps and sided eyed Jennie, who was out of breath from jogging.
"You didn't have to rush, I would have understood if you were late." Lisa spoke, standing all the way up with a smile.
"I know but I didn't want to keep you waiting for long. I don't have a lot of work to do today anyway." Jennie answered, finger combing her hair before taking her hair tie on her wrist and tying her hair up. Lisa admiring the older the entire time.
She snapped out of her trance and pried her eyes away from her. "What do you study?"
"Fashion design. I would like to be a fashion designer and make my own brand of clothing. I swear I thought it would be easy once I entered the field but it's actually stressful." Jennie explained, walking near the orange head.
Lisa chuckled. "Nothing is easy in this world. Sorry you had to figure it out the hard way."
"Ah, its nothing really. Anyway, what are we up too?"
"Today, I shall teach you how to fire a gun. Have you ever use a gun before?" Lisa asked, turning her head to look at Jennie.
"No I have not. Didn't think I have too." Jennie joked, looking at the weapons in front of her.
"Well milady, today is your lucky day." Lisa winked. She grabbed a handgun and handed it to the older.
"I'll let you experiment and once you get the handle of it, I'll take it off safety and you can do some practice shots."
"You really thought this through haven't you?" Jennie smiled, taking the gun and examining it.
"Maybe or maybe I just wanted to impress you with how professional I can be." Lisa cooed, her eyes wandering all over Jennie's face. Jennie looked up and saw how Lisa was staring at her, her heart skipping a little beat.
"I won't lie and say it's not working." Jennie said back, her eyes also wandering around a bit but she turned away first.
"That's good to hear." Lisa finally took her eyes off her and looked out into the distance. "Whenever you are ready, just let me-"
A shot pierced through the air and Lisa's eardrums, making her high alert about what just happened but it wasn't an enemy.
Jennie had just shot out into the open area, her eyes just as widen after she realized she pulled the trigger. Lisa had a shock look painted all over her face.
"I-I thought it was on safety.." Lisa stuttered, reaching out to take the gun but Jennie pulled it away. Her heart coming down from extreme speeds.
"It was. I took it off, aimed and shot." Jennie answered, tightening her grip on the handle as she stared at it.
"I thought you said you never used a gun before."
"Doesn't mean I don't know how to operate it." The older smiled. "Now aiming is a different story and knowing how to use other guns is foreign to me."
Lisa smirked, staring at her partner with a slight seductive look. "I guess I wasn't the only one trying to impress someone here."
Jennie looked up, accidently lowering her gaze at Lisa's lips and back up to her doe like eyes. "I guess not."
"Are y'all finna eat each others faces or...?" Hyuna spoke up, making the other two jump up in fright.
"Hyuna!" Lisa whined, slouching her shoulders down. The oldest of the three laughed at her friend's antics. She was watching the two for a while now and she couldn't help but feel nostalgic at how her and Dawn became a thing. Of course they didn't start liking each other while someone was holding a gun.
