I shook my head while staring at the girl who submitted her resume to apply as my secretary. "Next," I say-so.
For almost five years, I've been managing this company that I inherited from my dad, countless times I had been robbed and scammed by different persons with same motives. Well, I won't let that happen again.
That's why, I'm longing for trustworthy, reliable, and responsible person that I could hire.
Luckily, I found one and that is Tanya. She's definitely the person-- who I've been looking for.
And because of that, she captured my heart.
I sighed heavily as I entered Tanya's messy office. I went straight to her direction and was stunned upon looking at her innocent and angelic face.
With completely thunderstruck look, she faced me. "I'm s-sorry sir, I s-slept---
Before she finish her words, I immediately shut her mouth using my index finger. "It's okay. And please, stop overworking. You look like a zombie." I quirked before walking towards the repository of cleaning materials to get a broom and sweep some dust in the floor.
"Sir, ako na po ang gagawa niyan--
"Umuwi ka na muna. And please, have enough rest. I hate to see you getting tired like this. Hmm?" I reprimanded and then, she left.
Even me-- I mean, I'm confused about my behavior whenever she's around. Kung noon ay isa akong masungit na boss, well, grumpy no more. That's all because of her.
Because of Tanya.
I trust her so much, to the point that I'm letting her enter my personal office and open the company's personal bank. I don't know why I turned up like this, but one thing I am sure of is that I'm inlove with her.
But, I won't confess until I become doubtless about my feelings.
It's already 10:00pm. I'm making a Power point presentation for our meeting tomorrow.
"What an unlucky day."
I switched the lights on before entering. The first thing I saw was the scattered papers and chairs that made my heart tremble in foreboding.
My sight slowly became blurry.
Despite of agony, I forced my self to utter some words to reach for help.
I woke up in a plain white room. I tried to stand but my body ached as a whole.
It was on a news channel.
"Approximately 100 million was robbed from a notorious company by a group of thieves. The defined owner of the company gained five stabs on his back and various wounds on the different parts of his body. Fortunately, he's now recovering." It says.
