"Come on son!" My father said throwing another punch at me. The punch landed in my gut and I doubled over. My Beta, Luke, looked down, while my third in command, drew, looked away. I grunted and held my gut. I tasted a metallic taste in my mouth, and I spit it out; blood.
"We've been at this for hours sir. Can we take a break?" I said through clenched teeth. "WHEN I SAY IT TS OVER ITS OVER. NOW COME ON, TAKE YOUR BEST SHOT!" My father yelled. I stood up and got into a defense position, while my body ached in protest. We walked in a circle with our hands cover our faces. My father lunged at me and I rolled to the side and quickly stood up, only to be greet by my father's feet tripping my feet. My body hit the matted floor. My body felt as if I was set on fire; pain and ache ran through my body. "YOU ARE WEAK!" My father yelled. "HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO BE THE ALPHA OF THIS PACK IF YOU CANT EVEN FIGHT?!" He kicked me in the gut and I groaned. "MAYBE IF YOU WENT EASIER ON ME THEN MAYBE I COULD FIGHT!" I screamed back. "IM ONLY DOING THIS TO HELP YOU." He screamed back. He walked over to the bench and started to unwrap the tape on his knuckles; he pulled off his tank top which was wetted with sweat. He wiped his face off with a towel and grabbed to other towel and threw it at me. "You are going to be eighteen tomorrow, there is a chance that you will find your mate. Don't screw up, remember that this pack comes first before your Luna, don't make the same mistake as I did with your mother." He said and left the room.
Drew and Luke rushed over to me and helped me off the floor. I groaned and once I was all the way up wiped off my face. "daniel, speaking of the mate thing, do you think your mate is gonna be luella?" Drew said. Luella was the current beta's daughter. She was beautiful with long blonde hair and gorgeous emerald eyes. She was tall and athletic and funny. "I don't know but I hope so, she would be the perfect Luna, don't you think?" I said, a slight smile on my lips. Both of them nodded
But I knew that even if she wasn't my Luna, that I would love my mate no matter what.
