I walked back to French limping. When I walked into the room, mr. Sallis rushed over to me. "Fight with another pack member?" He asked worried. "No, alpha lost control, don't worry... I'll be fine." I said holding my side. "Maybe you should go to the nurse's office, just to get ch-" "no! I've been assigned to Violet waters. I must stay with her at all times... Alpha's orders." I hissed quietly. "Oh... Hunter or threat?" He asked in a hushed whisper. "Neither... Mate and future Luna of our pack." I said. He sighed and nodded.
I limped back over to my seat next to Violet. Violet looked at me, concern lacing her features. "What happened?" She asked. "Little fight in the hall way... No big deal." I said shrugging. "Oh... I'm sorry. At my old school I got in fights a lot." Violet said. "Oh... Were you bullied?" I asked, suddenly worried about my future Luna. "Yes... A lot of people didn't like me or get me because I was different. They didn't get why my counselor pulled me out of class to meet with me or why I was seen in the office taking medication. I was the weird girl with lots of problems. Everyone thought I was a physco and avoided me. They said I can back from juvie because an office aide, who was a fellow student, got into my file and saw that I went to a correctional facility. I was soon labelled as a freak and was regularly beaten up in the bathroom." Violet said shrugging. "Why did you go to a correctional facility?" I asked. Violet looked away. "We should get to work, it's the middle of the semester and I've never taken French. At my old school a foreign language is required but I took Spanish." She said quickly, averting the conversation.
"Do you think maybe you could come over tonight and we could get me all caught up on it? I would really appreciate it, but I get that you would rather be doing something else." "No, I'd love to hang out. I have to be back to the house at eight so I'll stay for dinner if that's okay with your family." I said. I quickly flipped to where I left off in my notebook and started to take the notes that where on the board. "Uh... My mom won't care. She works the late shift at some bar. She always takes night shift for her jobs. So don't worry, you can stay as long as you like, you could even stay the night if you wanted." Violet said, writing down the notes as well. "I can't tonight. But If you want I can give you a ride to school tomorrow. And since tomorrow is the party, do you want to spend the night at my house? I know you just moved here and aren't ready to b-" "I'd love to." Violet said quickly. "I've never been invited to someone's house before." She said quietly, looking down at her notes. "Well, now you have." I said smiling at her.
