My life with Luke Hemmings

Chapter 6

Urg. Today was Sunday. Tomorow I have school. I really hate school. But now I have to go to work. Which I hate more then school. I get on my uniform which is a blue dress and a white apron with my name on it "Kayla F." I'm a waitress at IHOP. It is just temporary so I have some extra cash, but I still have to go.

I hop in my car and leave.

On the way I see two guys fighting on the side of the street. There wrestling over money it looks like. One guy has brown hair and a scar Down his arm with a lot of tattoos. The other guy looks like--James?

I pull over.

"James!" I run over to him. I don't know why but this reminds me of the last time Nicki got in a fight with James. James got super drunk and went out gambling. He lost more money that he started out with and he got in a fight because he couldn't pay his debts.

"James stop." He looks at me. He doesn't stop. "I'm calling nicki." "No don't!" He gets punched in the face. I dial her number. "Hello?" "Hey nicki. Did you and James get in a fight?" I ask her. "Yeah why. Wait how do you know?" She sounds worried. "Because I'm watching him fighting this guy. I'm on 9th street. You better hurry." I end the phone call. "Hey guys lets try to settle this like reasonable men." The tattooed man looks at me. He is really scary.

This is when 5sos starts playing in my car. There playing a recording of last nights concert. Its amnesia. I run to my car and turn off the engine.

Nicki finally gets here and breaks up the whole thing. The tattooed guy was his uncle which is really weird.

I finally get to IHOP with 3 minutes to spare.

I'm on my 30 minute lunch break. I take my phone out of my purse. I scroll down. "Layla. Luccinsa. Luck." I am tempted to dial it and see if luke really game me his number but I'm afraid it won't be and that I'll never have a connection with luke again. I dial it.

*ring ring*

It's ringing. It rings about 3 times before someone picks up. "Hello?" I hear teen boys laugh. "Hello?" It's Calum. "Calum? It's kayla. Luke game me this number I thought it was his." I am so happy. I can't believe I actually got his number. "Yeah he just poped in the bathroom to empty his pot." I was so surprised that Calum just said that. "Ok well could you have him call me when he"s done?" I asked Calum as I heard a flush and a door open. "Is that joe? He owes me $30 in cash because he lost a bet." Luke said through the phone. He took the phone. "Hello?" His accent was heavy. "Hey it's me. Kayla. I met you at your concert?" I said "it's alright if you don't remember me. I mean I'm just a fan." "No I remember you." Luke started. "Your Kayla and you came with Nikci. Michael can't stop talking about her. I think you two need to come down here Agian soon. Because Michael is getting annoying." I couldn't believe it. Nicki"s favorite person in the band likes her and my all time crush wants me to come down there. Soon! This felt like a dream. "Yeah we'd love too." "Yeah I mean we would love to see you agian. We are on our way to Georgia." Georgia was actually so close to me. Like an hour away. "I'd really like to see you. Maybe we could swing by and pick u guys up. You could tour with us. I mean it's 9 more weeks but it's really great. And if you have school we can bring along a tutor. And it wouldn't cost you anything." I think Luke was being serious. And that would be amazing. "Are you kidding? We would love to. I mean id have to ask my parents but I already know the answer. When would you get here?" Luke started giggling. "Probably in 3 hours." 3 hours? That's so close. "Yeah Nicki and I would love too." Luke started yelling at Calum. "Hey sorry I got to go. But I'll talk to you later Kayla. Hope you can come!" I smile at the phone. "I hope i can too. I'll call u in half an hour. Bye!" "Bye!" He hung up the phone. I couldn't believe my ears. Me and my best friend would get to tour with 5sos. This was amazing.
