Chapter 3

This was it. I was two steps away from being in the 5sos practice room and spending 2 hours with them. "Kayla, I'm so excited. I can't move." Nicki said. "Well I can" I ran to the door. "Haha very funny" she said. We stood there for 10 seconds. "1,2,3" I opened the door and there they were.

"Hey! You must be kayla and nicki!" Ashton motioned. "Actually I'm kayla and that's Nicki" I looked at nicki and she was staring at Michael. "Come in, come in, make your selfs at home." Callum was sitting on a stool, Micheal was on the couch, and Luke was leaning on the wall like in a dream. Ashton walked over to a chair.

"So ladies what do you want to know about us?" Callum said.

There accents were even cuter in person.

"Well I think I know everything about u allready." Said nicki. I looked at her. "NICKI!" I whispered. "Your going to creep them out!" She got a worried look on her face. "Hey Kayla," luke just said my name. "Yeah?" I looked up at him. "I saw u in the front row. I grabbed your hand. Then u fell down." He giggled a bit. "Yeah I tripped on a purse someone left lying around." He was smiling. "I could hear your laugh in the song." He laughed agian. "Yeah I guess I couldn't help myself. A girl walked in. She had long black straight hair. I think she is Latina. She walked over to Ashton and sat on his lap. "Hey babe" he kissed her on the lips. "Hey, who are these girls?" "This is Kayla and Nicki. We get to spend 2 hours with them." She looked over at us. "Cool. Hey I got to go now." She turned to us. "My band is going to California to preform and I can't be late." She kissed Ashton and left.

"Who's up for dinner?" Said Luke. "Let's go to to the kitchen."

I was walking next to Luke. "how long have you been interested in music?" I asked him. "Ever since I was a child. I used to put on performances for my family and friends." "What made you decide to join a band?" I always thought that Luke started the band. "Well I guess we all kinda wanted to be in a band so we made one." He said. "Ashton was the drummer and singer. Calum was the bass and singer. Micheal was guitar and singer and I was guitar lead singer."

We were almost to the kitchen.

We sat at a round table of 6. I sat next to Luke and Nicki sat next to Michael. And I sat next to nicki.

"So kayla. What made you like 5sos?" Luke asked me. "You" I said aloud. Wait why did I just say that aloud?! "I mean--your singing. I love it." I studered. He smiles at me. "Micheal I love your hair. It's always so colorful and your really hot." Nicki said to Michael. "Thanks nicki. Your hair is cute too."

A crowd of people walked by the window and started flipping out. The guards kept them out though.

"Is it hard?" Luke looked at me in question. "Is what hard?" Shoot I just realized what that sounded like. "Playing in a band and being stalked by fans?" "Oh! Well I wouldn't say hard is say annoying." His response shocked me. "Annoying? In what way?" "Annoying like sometimes I just want a break. You know. Live a normal life." I understood what he meant. He wanted to live a normal life where he could walk on the street without 50 girls walking up to him asking him for an autograph. "I'll treat you normal." I mean I could try to treat him normal but it would take some effort. I smiled at him. He smiled back.

The waitor addressed us "May I take your order?"
