Genshin theories

The Yaes. And the unknown god.

**SPOILER WARNING**

So, as we know... We get stopped at the start of the game by this unknown goddess who punishes us by trespassing on her land by banishing us to a new realm. (Teyvat)

I believe that the unknown goddess is "Sirin" from Honkai. Also known as the Herrscher of the Void. Here is why I think so. (warning for spoilers ?)

One. Their appearance and attack style is very similar.

Two. They summon similar shapes when creating the voids. (will come back to this.)

Three. MiHoYo has made countless crossovers which include but is not limited to; a Genshin Impact event, the Evangelion items, (From Neon Genesis Evangelion.)

Four. Many characters like Mei, Bronya, Seele, Durandal and more have multiple battlesuits which act as powerups to aid them in the story. If it is true that Sirin is the unknown god, it could be a battlesuit/powerup. 

Yae Sakura (From Honkai Impact 3rd) uses electric replicating skills seen in her battlesuit "Darkbolt Jonin." This battlesuit is featured along with a few others during the Genshin Impact event. Darkbolt Jonin discovers the Yae village after defeating the bosses of the event and discovers that all the residents are called "Yae" as their last name. This could result in a crossover that Yae Guuji(Of Genshin Impact) is a previous resident or even founder of the Yae village. Every Miko of the shrine (in Honkai Impact) is a Yae too and considering that Yae Guuji (Of Genshin Impact) is a Yae and a Miko of a shrine leads suspicion over her identity. As we are currently unaware of her backstory/history this could be true. However, it is very unlikely since this is MiHoYo.

It is very possible for both Yae and the unknown god to be crossover characters however another character I haven't mentioned is Raiden. 

Honkai Impact 3rd has a "Herrscher of Thunder" named Raiden Mei, sound familiar?
Genshin Impact's "Raiden Shogun: Ei." Also known as the Archon of Electro. One island cursed by her experiences much thunder and lightning. Oh what a coincidence! M/ei both share titles of electric-mimics. Their attack mechanics also seem somewhat similar too. Recently in leaks it appears that Raiden Shogun (Genshin Impact) can summon arms to slash the opponent which also can reach out of portals, now where have I heard that? Honkai Impact 3rd. Raiden Mei also has large arms she can summon to slash the opponent with too!

Obviously they're both produced in different studios but there must be connections between these two games, it's not just characters alone that appear similar but due to Genshin being open-world it's slightly harder to make links without it being a bit of a stretch.
