dear gojou satouru,

hello ! i hope you're doing well when you read this, i've been saving this letter for sometime now, but i didn't had the guts to give it to you so when you read this, it was probably passed by someone.

i'm sorry i didn't tell you about my situation, i didn't think we would meet everyday and somewhat get close. i wanted to tell you, i really did or if it was in any other circumstances, i would just never meet you again to be completely honest. nonetheless, i stayed and met up with you every morning before going to work. something about you drawn me in and i felt comfortable around you. i had fun hanging out with you.

did you remember how we first met? well more like our eyes met. it was the most random thing that happened to me cause if i ever met eyes with someone i never see them again but then i saw you again the next morning and turns out you knew a co-worker of mine, nanami! it was fun meeting you by the way :)

also, you probably thought i'm weird for ordering different kinds of coffee every morning, i wanted to taste every flavor of coffee there was and plus i don't really like sweet drinks.

anyways, you have such a pretty smile and then that day when you came without those blindfold things, i was surprised!! you have pretty blue eyes and i was mesmerized by them!! you got those big blue eyes, makes me fantasize about you <3

one last thing before i end off this letter..

i will miss you, thank you for hanging out with me, you really made my days happier. might just catch some feelings to be honest ;)
promise me that you won't stop coming to the cafe okay? at least one of us has to stay as a regular customer.

yours truly,
l/n y/n.

gojou sat down at a table in the small warm cafe, a cup of americano sitting on the table in front of him, he was looking nowhere in particular. the letter that y/n wrote for him was in his hands. it's been a few days after he got the letter and since then, he never stop coming to the cafe.

the bell on top of the entrance door rang, gojou didn't even bother to look up, it was probably another customer that would come and go.

another minute later, someone called for him. "gojou satouru?" they called.

gojou looks up to see an old lady looking at him.

"yes?" he answered her.

"may i sit here?" gojou simply nodded. a few seconds pass by until the lady spoke up. "you know my daughter, l/n y/n?"

gojou's eyes quickly meet hers. "yes..?"

the lady seemed hesitant at first but she opened her mouth to speak. "y/n.. she passed away just two days ago.." her eyes was glistening with tears but she continued, "at her funeral.. she wants you to be there, she said so before--"

"i understand," gojou cuts her off with a nod. "i'll be there, when is it going to be held?" he asks.

"this saturday."

"i will be there," he looks down at his intertwined fingers.

"thank you," she said and with that she stood up from her seat and left.

gojou sat in front of the portrait of l/n y/n smiling. his face showed no emotion. he didn't knew what to feel, yes he was sad about everything that happened to her but the tears ran out after nights of mourning while re-reading her letter to him again and again.

"i'll miss you," he only said and stood up.
