"BreeAnne get up! You're going to be late for the bus!"
I shot up causing my blankets to fly every where. I jumped up out of my bed and ran to my closet. Picking out the first thing I saw and got a pair of jeans to go with. I frantically ran to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. My brown hair was a huge mess. " No no not today!!!" I mumbled under my breath.
I quickly brushed out my hair and ran down the stairs. Grabbing a piece of toast I ran down the stairs then ran back up remembering something I stayed up thinking about last night. "Mom... I was wondering... um well..." I Didn't know how to say it. " What BreeAnne you're going to be late for the bus and I don't have time to drive you today.
I came out saying it. "I want to go visit dad!" Right as I said it mom looked up from her magazine she was reading and took of her glasses. "BreeAnne you know you don't have to ask me." She said staring at me. "I know mom but I want to know what you think of me going to see him. "
"BreeAnne I don't care but be home before 5:00." Being the obiediant child I am I didn't ask any more questions I just looked down at my feet and walked out the door.
I walked to the bus stop and waited for my friend Ava. We've been best friends ever since I can remember! She was the one who helped me get through the divorce. Speaking of the divorce, I'm really nervous about seeing my dad today. I haven't seen him in for ever and I don't know if he still wants to see me. "Hey girly." I turn around and see Ava standing over me. "Are you deep in thought again?" I nod my head not saying anything. "What is it this time?" "Ava should I go see my dad after school today?" She had a kind of surprised look on her face. "Well... What do you want?" Ava said not helping one little bit! "That's not helping at all Ava. I want or see him but I don't want to just show up."
"I do! Ava is that rude?" "I don't think so. Unless the guy doesn't want to see you." Ava said. "Hey that guy, is my dad and he said anytime I was ready to see him I was always able to." Ava is one of those girls who don't worry about stuff as much as teenage girls do.
That's why I like her.
"Then why are you worrying so much BreeAnne?" She always has questioned me worrying. "Cause thats what I do and you know that!" I said back to her. "You are very correct!" She said giving me a little playful punch. I stuck my tongue out at her, and she just smiled.
As usual. The bus then pulled up and opened it's doors. Ava and I stood up linking arms and stepped on to the smelly, yellow bus.
We took the seats directly in the middle of the bus.
We soon got to the school and all the teenage boys on the bus ran and trampled Ava and I. I swear they act more like wild animals than teenage boys! There is all 6 of our classes in one day and since I'm a sophomore I have the first lunch thats at 11:00.
The first 3 classes went by pretty fast and now it is lunch, the best time of the day! I got a piece of pizza and went and sat down next to Ava. "Hi Ava!" I said "Hi Bree, what'd you get? " She always asks that same question. "Pizza!" She smiled and shook her head at me. "Are you going to get anything?" I said to Ava. " Ya I was just waiting for you. " She said while getting up.
She returned 5 minutes later with a piece of pizza as well. We finished eating our pizza and stood up to leave when we were approached by Avrey Emmet the rudest person ever. "Cute top Avrey." I said ignoring her death glare. "I can't say the same about you!" She said in the snobbiest way possible. "That's ok, I happen to like this shirt." I walked away which was the best thing to do.
"Wait up Bree!" Ava said chasing me. "Are you ok or are you upset?" She said catching up to me. "I'm totally fine. Truley, I'm fine I'm glad I didn't say I anything I would regret." I said walking a little farther, then I stopped.
I didn't care if she doesn't like my shirt, thats why its my style and she doesn't have to like it.
"BreeAnne are you sure..." Ava said not believing me.
"Im fine it's not a big deal if she doesn't like my shirt." I tried telling her.
As she was about to grill me again, the bell rang. Saved by the bell. "Bye A..." I said while walking away. "Bye B." I walked to my class.
Before I knew what happened I was on the ground.
I looked up and saw a boy with brown hair and green eyes staring down at me. " Uh uh... Uh sorry I didn't mean to... Here let me help you. I'm Remi..." he said while getting on his hands and knees to help pick up my stuff. "... I'm new to this school." He's kind of cute. I didn't notice until now. "I'm BreeAnne but you can call me Bree." I said while picking up my pencil that was rolling away.
"I'm sorry I wasnt paying attention." Remi said. "No it was my fault I wasnt watching. What's your next class? I just had to ask. "Well it says Art." Remi said. "Thats my next class too!" I said. "Well do you want to walk to class with me?" He asked. "Sure!" I said a little too excited. He laughed a little then smiled at me.

Now school was over and I am going to see my dad. I have to admit I am a little scared.I approached the house and stopped on the font step.
Wow my dad owns a huge house!!!!
Not the point. I reached out and knocked on the door, and a tall handsome man opened the door.
