~Cade's POV~
I'm so happy that the girl of my dreams had said yes! I was thinking to myself. She is so perfect in every way, I just wish she would see it too. I'm gonna text her and see if she wants to hangout. So I texted her.
Hey babe, I was wondering if you wanted to hangout? Oh god, why did I say babe? I'm gonna screw this relationship up just like the last one. I thought. But I was wrong. Sure! (: of course I would! What time and where? She responded. Umm how about my house? And I'll come get you right now. A few minutes went by and she responded. Okay I'll be ready! She said. Okay be there in 5 <3. I said. <3. She said back.
~Devon's POV~
Cade and I were hanging out for the first time! I am so excited! I thought. I just told my parents I was going to a friends for a little bit, and they said it was fine.
Cade had arrived in with 20 minutes because he was just guessing of how far he lived from me. It was further than he thought! Hi! He said as I got in the car. Hello! I said back smiling. So what are we going to do today!? I asked. Well, I was thinking since my parents aren't home, we can stay at my house and watch Netflix together! Oh, and I know we've only been together for 5 days, but I got you a suprise! He said with the biggest smile. Awh, you didn't have too! And yeah that's like the perfect date! I said smiling. Wait is this a date? I questioned. Of course, the first date! He said with a smile. And we were off to his house.
~Cade's POV~
We arrived in 20 minutes, like the amount of time it took me to get to Devon's house. The whole way back to my house we talked a bit, she was laughing and smiling looking at her phone a lot. I think she was texting her friends. She is so pretty!! Alright, we're here! Stay right here for a sec. I said turning off the car and getting out.
~Devon's POV~
What is he doing? I was thinking. Well you wanna know what he was doing? He came to open my car door for me. He is perfect. Thanks! I said smiling getting out of the car. I closed the door and he hesitantly grabbed my hand not knowing if I was okay with that. So I looked up at him, smiled, and grabbed his hand right back. He smiled from ear to ear.
We walked up to his front door still hand in hand, I might add, then he opened the door and we walked inside. Wow...! This is huge!! Way bigger than my place! I said. He just smiled and led me to the couch. Let me go get your suprise. He said.
A few minutes later he starting coming around the corner with a huge teddy bear and some beautiful white flowers. I stared with my mouth open in astonishment. Awhhh omg! Thank you so much! You are perfect! I said getting up and running to hug him. I would do anything for you beautiful. He said. Okay, I know we haven't been dating for that long, but I love you. I said to him as I was smiling like an idiot. I love you more! He said hugging me tightly. Think whatever you want. I whispered in his ear, and he just laughed.
We stayed there hugging for a little while before we finally went over to the couch to watch Netflix. What do you want to watch? He asked. Um, whatever is fine. I replied. Thanks for the help! He said sarcastically. I watched him go through movies. How about this one? He said stopping on the movie Carrie. Sure, why not! I said with a smile. Okay I'm gonna go get the lights, oh, and the popcorn! He said.
~Cade's POV~
I got up to go get the popcorn and to turn the lights off. There were already blankets over there, so it was all good. I mean the only reason I picked this movie was because I figured it would be pretty scary for her, and she would hide under the blanket and cuddle into me. I am pretty smart if I do say so myself!
~Devon's POV~
I'm scared,to be honest. It looks pretty creepy. Cade hit the lights and sat down putting the blanket over us. I'm gonna cuddle with you. I said pretty openly. He laughed and said he was perfectly fine with that.
There were a lot of scary parts in the movie so I basically cuddled in Cade's shoulder the whole time. He smelled really good. He was holding me in his arms. It was amazing. I was so happy.
Well that's it! Cade said. Did you like it? He added. Um besides the fact that I was hiding in your shoulder the whole time. Sure! I said. He smiled at me. I love you. He said. I love you too. I said. We were both smiling looking at eachother. He went in to kiss me, and I leaned in also. Then, we kissed. I love you, Cade. I said. I love you too, Devon.
It was the most perfect first date there could ever be.
