Begging

Olivia's POV : I was staring at the guy sitting next to me basically begging him to say yes just by looking at him in the eyes

Lucas : I appreciate you for thinking of me Principal Anderson but I'd like to respectfully decline the offer thank you

And he just walked out

Principal Anderson : Well that was extremely strange I thought he'd jump at the opportunity especially since he and his mom need all the help they can get involving financial matters

Olivia : what....?

Principal Anderson : yeah you didn't know .., he's a scholarship student he works a second job after school just to help his mother...

Olivia : that sounds horrible

Principal Anderson: it really is... now please leave first period is about to begin good luck with thr tutoring business though

I walked out of her office feeling disappointed I spotted Lucas by the lockers so I went to him to try and apologize

Olivia : Hey...uhm I'm Olivia and

He cut me off

Lucas : Listen I know who you are and I don't want to be associated with someone like you ..please just find another tutor I don't need any trouble in my life right now I already have enough problems

Olivia : I won't bring any problems please I just desperately need the help ...and Principal Anderson said that you're the best out of everyone so please I-

Lucas : Look I'm really not trying to be rude or anything but I want nothing to do with you so please leave me alone rich kid can't your rich mom find some international tutor or something.. you clearly don't need me you have access to more than enough resources than me so please.

And just like that he left ...how rude was he I mean sure I might have pushed him a little but there's no need for him to hate me all of a sudden like that jeez. Just as I was lost in my thoughts someone came and stood infront of me.

Olivia : oh hi Samuel

Samuel : Hey beautiful...what were you doing talking with that loser

Olivia : ugh ...I need him to tutor me but he's being a jerk about it ..he won't help me

Samuel : well why don't you just find someone else who's less useless than that prick

Olivia : I can't he's the best at what he does and I need alot of help really...

Samuel : well I can help you with your problem ...if you agree to go an a date with me

"What ?!" I responded... I don't know why I was so shocked because half the guys at this school find me attractive .. something I find very overrated like don't they have something better to do with their lives then to just stare at me all day....some even send me love letters for goodness sake. "I said I'll help you with your problem if u agree to go on a date with me" he said with a smug look on his face "sure only if he says yes" I almost gagged but I had no choice ..I was desperate. He left and went to Lucas I wondered how he'll convince him . He seemed set on his decision not to help me but I had hope.

At lunch I told Isa everything since we had different classes all morning

Olivia : ...so after I talked to principal Anderson he called in the guy I bumped into yesterday and walked of he refused to help me and he just walked off

Isabella : well why were you so rude to him

Olivia : you know I'm never like that ..I was just angry at what Ms Smith said and I acted out of anger ...
