Oliva's Senior Year

Olivia's POV: it's been exactly 3 months after I went to Uncles house and Goddamn has it been a roller-coaster. Uncle did as he said he would, he hired a private investigator to track mom's every move and she has been up to so much since I left, infact even before that. Uncle's investigator found out that she's been involved in fraud and scamming people, money laundering, illegal gambling and so much more. I had been wondering where she gets so much money. I just thought she spends my father's inheritance well guess not.
Oh and her face when police found her at home drunk out of her mind. She's been in prison for exactly 1 month and we've been going in and out of court. It's hard to face her everyday but it got better knowing it was for a better cause.

Lucas came to me and apologized for interfering in my personal life. I figured since my mom is going to be behind bars anyway I should tell Lucas what's been going on.

Olivia: so the real reason I have been avoiding home is cause my mom is an  abusive drunk

Lucas: what ?

Olivia: yeah my mom is a real asshole
She's been abusive towards me since forever and she's a drunkard so you can already see how those two things don't do so great together.

Lucas: damn I can't even imagine how that must be like

Olivia: it's hard
That's why I called my uncle to stay with him ..my mom is in jail currently, and we're having a trial.
We have pretty strong evidence too and I belive she's going away for a very long long time

Lucas: I'm sorry you've been going through all that. I can't even begin to imagine

Olivia: it's alright, everything is going to be alright soon.

And from that day on Lucas has not left my side.
He's been with me through it all the trial and school.

I was glad he knew and our relationship just kept growing. Other than me and Noah whose upset at me and Lucas for spending so much time together and not involving him. Once Noah was talking with Lucas and I might have heard an interesting conversation between the two

Noah: why are you always with Olivia, you barely give us any alone time and you're always with her

Lucas: she needs me more than ever right now dude, I can't leave her not right now

Noah: but you know I like her and I've been trying to ask her for months and instead of helping it just feels like you're sabotaging me

Lucas: I think I need to be honest with you right now. I think I-

Just then I bumped into a trash can which made alot of noise so I ran away before they could see me. But I have been so curious to what Lucas confessed to Noah because they got into a huge argument and the stopped talking for a while. But then I guessed the resolved whatever it was because they started talking again AND Noah stopped complaining about Lucas and me spending alot of time together so that was great I guess.

Though I do feel really bad for driving Noah and Lucas apart. I mean before me they were close, but now with the court case and everything Lucas's attention is always on me which I guess Noah has noticed and he's gotten jealous of. I think that Noah had a crush on me.

And that was it. I really hope I'm not breaking up their friendship.
But in other less depressing news Isabella actually came to apologize to me for shutting me out and everything she's done to me. She apologized for not believing me and she even testified against my mother. How I was staying at their place the night of the attempted murder. I forgave her and apologized If she felt threatened by me with her mom. I knew Isa there's no way she hated me that much cause she didn't belive me. I think that she was just jealous of the bond I was having with her mom. When I told her that she actually admitted that she was jealous, HA I knew it.
