Adventures of Freddy and Gregory (A PTA Glamrock Freddy AU)

The Prologue

Had they really escaped? It was almost impossible to believe. Almost. Never in his whole existence did Freddy believe he would be outside the Pizza Plex, let alone standing in court. Yeah, that was right, Freddy was currently in court for a few reasons. One, he figured he had the complete right to adopt Gregory, seeing as he was homeless. However, Freddy was merely a robot, and he didn't have any money. That leads us to cause number two, Freddy was sueing the owners of the Pizza Plex. Due to the horrible management and terrible treatment of the workers and animatronics, he figured it would be an easy case, with enough evidence that is.

And, shockingly enough, it was very easy. And past workers, his and Gregory's words, and the several missing children reports in the place was enough to get the two compensation. Happily, they left to head on out in their tiny van, which would not be enough room for the two of them for long.
"Hey superstar," Freddy spoke gently, placing a reassuring hand on the small child's shoulder. "Today has been quite... Eventful. Luckily, it all turned out in our favor!" Gregory scoffed, and Freddy's heart fell a tiny bit.
"Yeah, it only worked because of all the reports...Freddy, what if I had been one of them? What if I had gotten killed?" Gregory began to sniffle, hugging Freddy in an attempt to hide the tears that were streaming down his face.
"Gregory, you know I would never let that happen to you. Glitchtrap and Vanny are now gone, and we can rest easy. Trust me, I will protect you with all I have." The two stayed like that for a while, a soft embrace filled with love and emotion. "Come on, Superstar! Today is a good day. Let us go get ice cream to celebrate!"

Present Day, 3 days before the party.

Gregory sat comfortably in his bed, the sun sprinkling through the window as it lit up his bedroom. Yeah, him and Freddy had managed to sue for enough money to not only buy a house, but live very comfortably in a new neighborhood. It was risky, and Gregory was nervous but behave in once he saw how much Freddy- or shall I say, his dad- was excited at the idea of moving in. Surely, surely nothing could go wrong. The other animatronics had died in the fire, thee was no ifs, ands, or buts about it. It was just him and Freddy against the world. Though the laws for robots weren't very great, they were livable conditions, so you take what you can get I guess. However, Gregory was cautious, and for the sake of his oblivious dad, he would remain that way. A gentle knock came from his bedroom door, as the boy let out a small "come in".

"Good morning Superstar! I did not realise you were awake already." Freddy came into the rather large bedroom, sitting on the side of Gregory's bed. "How did you sleep?" Groggily, the child gave a half-hearted meh, rubbing the sleep away from his eyes.
"Morning dad...I've had better nights, I kept having nightmares." Freddy's face fell upon hearing this, making sure his next question didn't sound too forceful.
"About the Pizza Plex?" Gregory only nodded, pulling the warm blankets off of his torso. "I am sorry Gregory. Truly sorry. It was not right of a child to have to experience such a thing." Freddy put a kind hand on Gregory's head, almost as if petting him. "However, I can assure you that nothing like that will ever happen again. I swear on my life..." Muttering the last sentence, Freddy changed his expression to one of joy, giving Gregory a happy head pat. "You know..." standing up, Freddy pulled the blinds open completely, looking outside. "It's quite a nice day outside."
"Is it?" Rolling it of bed, Gregory waddled over to the window. "Hmm. Maybe we can look around more, this place is fairly new to us."
"That's a wonderful idea Gregory! Get ready, I will be waiting in the living room for you." With that, Freddy began towards the door, stopping short. "And, please, do not hesitate to call for me if you need anything." And with that, he fully left the room, leaving Gregory alone to his devices.
