Maya's pov

"Holy shit" yelled an annoying voice. I peered opened my eyes and glared at the source; my sister. "What?" I groggily asked, rubbing my eyes. "You sly little bitch! Did you think you could hide this from me?" She screeched. Ouch, first my heart and now my ears. "Please elaborate" I said annoyed while dropping my face into the plush pillows.

"You Maya Vega found your mate!" She practically cheered with utter joy. I froze completely. This was not good. How did she find out?..oh that stupid bastard of an alpha! "Haha what? No! Me? Having an alpha mate? Of course not yet A." I replied nervously.

"Liar" She screamed until my ears were ringing. She jumped on top of me and grabbed a pillow before harshly hitting me with it. "Get off of me!" I yelled while turning around and shoving her away from me. She is really starting to get on my nerves at this ungodly hour. "When are you guys going to have babies? Did he mark you? Why aren't you sleeping with him? When is he going to make you Luna? Why aren't you happy? When are you guys gonna have babies?" She ranted like a broken record.

A growl escaped my lips. She was so annoying at times. "Never. No. Cause. You're funny. He's stupid. Never." I replied simply while glaring holes into her head. "Why are you so stubborn? He's your fucking mate! Go out there and be all loved up and cute!" She said. I started blushing furiously and kicked Aria off my bed as hard as I could.

"Ow! Anger issues much." She grumbled rubbing her stomach. "Just get out." I growled. For an older sister, she was pretty immature. She rolled her eyes and stood up, dusting invisible dust off her pants. "He's a great guy." She said as if that would change my mind about anything. "Yea cause killing people screams great guy." I said annoyed.

"Don't judge a book by its cover." Aria said while giving me a hard glare. "Well, I don't like to read so bye, just please get the fuck out." I replied while crossing my arms across my chest, daring her to stay. "Ugh you're so annoying! Get dressed and come eat breakfast at least." Aria said. "Not if you know who is going to be there." I snarled. "Aww you wanna get all prettied up" She sang.

This time I took the lamp on the bedside table and whooped it at her face. Her eyes widened and she let out a loud scream. Although, unfortunately she ducked right in time. "I'm scheduling an appointment for you with the pack doctor right now!" She yelled before stomping out of my room. "And come eat you dumb bitch." She yelled down the hall, probably waking up late sleepers, like myself.

A sigh left my lips and I forced myself out of bed. I had woken up about 4 times last night, Mason's harsh words echoing inside my mind, annoyingly. It was my wolf who had kept nagging me, begging to go to Mason. It was so much, that around 3am my wolf had even forced me to get out of bed. The reality was supposed to be that when two mates find each other they're together for there on out. Although here I am with a rude mate and an annoying wolf.

Shaking my head to get rid of those thoughts, I went to the washroom and did my business than unzipped my duffel bags, which had been brought from our house, in search of clothes. I ended up choosing white flowy shorts and a black shirt. I put on my white and black adidas then fixed my long and light chestnut coloured hair and made my way downstairs.

It took me awhile to find the kitchen but eventually, I found it. Ian and Aria were sitting across from each other and Mason was nowhere to be seen. Thank the gods.

"Maya! Finally you got your lazy ass up." Aria said. "Ill make you pancakes or something." She said while standing up. "No thanks." I said and sat on a stool. "I'm not too hungry." I replied. "Are you sure?" She asked not believing me. Last time I ate was yesterday, which was just some cereal. My stomach growled quietly, begging for food, but I felt sick. I was always used to being alert and aware, this new environment was sickening. They all got what they wanted and all they had to do was follow their alpha, Mason, my mate. Guess you could say I'm not over the rogue life.

"Well just incase you do get hungry theres some cereal inside the cabinet." Aria said while standing up. Ian stood up after her and took her hand in his. "Please eat something, this isn't good for you Maya." She said then gave me a kiss on the cheek and walked away with Ian.

I stood up to get a cup of water for my dry throat and sat back down. I took a sip and swirled the water around in the cup. Maybe I should just leave. This place didn't seem like my type and with Mason under the same roof as me, who knows how long i'll last. Suddenly I was surrounded by an amazing smell and I silently sighed in content.

"Morning Maya" I heard my mates deep voice say. Shocked at the sudden entrance, I spun around to face Mason. His hair a slight mess from bed and his chest shirtless. Just peachy! The douche probably did it on purpose.

Well, good morning to you too Satan.

I gave him a slight glance when he opened up the fridge, but otherwise didn't say anything. Did I really want to stay here, with him, as a Luna for the rest of my life? I didn't believe in love at first sight, but I wasn't against the idea of having a mate. I was torn, revengeful, and many other colourful things. I couldn't be a Luna, or anything close to one of the strongest Alpha's mate. No, I'm not insecure. This has nothing to do with insecurity, I'm just stating the truth, being true to myself. Lying wouldn't take me anywhere.

"What are you thinking about?" I heard Mason ask me, placing a carton of milk in front of me. "Nothing much." I replied dryly. Yes, I was being a bitch. But I couldn't do anything! It just came naturally. I heard him sigh, and a bowl with a spoon was also placed in front of me. Looking up at him with curiosity, he also placed a bowl and spoon across from me and sat down, before pouring some Nesquik cereal and Milk into his bowl. I was so utterly confused at the moment, and he looked up sensing me staring at him. Looking away from his eyes, I couldn't resist quickly skimming over his body. He was so fucking hot. I had to admit it and couldn't help feeling jealous of the fact that other girls could see him like this.

"Like what you see?" he said with a smirk, which grabbed my attention. I resisted the urge to blush and replied with a surprisingly steady voice. "Yes" I said before grabbing the cereal box and pouring myself some cereal and milk. Surprisingly, my appetite was back a little. Just a little. "Good, because its all yours baby" he replied before taking the cereal box back and pouring himself some more, as if what he said wouldn't affect me the way it did. I blushed hard at that. Like really hard. I think my face turned into a tomato.

I quickly finished the rest of my cereal and hopped off my stool, before placing my bowl in the sink. I turned to leave but caught his eye and he shamelessly skimmed my body, before putting the spoon in his mouth and continuing to eat.

"Mm" he hummed, eyes still on me. Shaking my head, the thought crossed my mind.. maybe cereal can be our always?
