He stared at me, evidently expecting me to spit out something intelligent, or distinguish-like. But as you might know me, I am not much of a thinking angel. I'm more of an... entertaining, trustful and loyal companion. Like a dog.

"I have no clue what to tell you on this, Uriáši, like, how the hell am i supposed to know?!" He kept his gaze glued on me a little more, and after a while sighed and looked up to the sky.
His eyes were blue. I am aware of that. Only because it's unusual for a guy like him, who's straight from the depths of hell, to have eyes of that color.

"Well, if you are such a responsible little angel, that even God himself chose you for this mission, I firmly believe that you should at least have a PINCH of clue to where we are right now."

I shook my head and began pacing around, leaving tracks of my feet in the snow. My steps made a soft crunching noise, which would be very pleasant to listen to if only i wasn't feeling so cold.

"Well, our powerful lord might have been mistaken about me being responsible."

I stop and turn to Uriáš who is longingly following me with his eyes.

"Matle" he mumbles.

"Zmetku," I respond immediately.

We are desperate. Both of us have been walking around these woods, meadows and roads, crossing frozen rivers and streams, trying to at least get a little idea of where we have been dropped to.

Neither of us knew. And there was no help around, no sign of mortals.

Just the two of us, and the freezing cold weather.

Uriáš's arms dropped down to his hips and he turned away from me.

He chuckled under his breath, as if sarcastically. Or more, out of despair.

I do not blame him though. It has been 5 hours of continuous walking, searching for something more than trees and hills.

"Great." he spoke up, "what in the Lucifer's cauldron are we even here for? What's our purpose on this God's mission?"

He walked back towards me, just close enough for me to reach my arm out to him and grab his shoulder. But I didn't do so.

"Petronelle, you didn't even bother to tell me in the first place. Now's your chance."

I cleared my throat and stuttered.

"Umm, well, Uriáši..." I smiled and then frowned, "Lord himself didn't elaborate. He simply told me: I am sending you and Uriáš down today. You shall eventually find the point of this mission."

He seemed complexed for a second, as if lost in thought but then just smiled at me and tilted away from my face.

"If that's what God wants...however confusing and meaningless it sounds, who am I, a simple tajtrlík čert to tell him?"

I rolled my eyes at this.
"It mustn't be meaningless if God intended it!"

Uriáš shrugged and winked.
"Whatever you say, matle."

Uriáš pov

It was getting dark. The sun had slowly been lowering itself and hiding behind a hilltop, warm sunbeams were finding their ways through branches of naked trees. Us both, were stuck on this pláň surrounded from the back by the woods and infront of us by a steep hill.

We haven't really talked much since the god- mission conversation. I wanted to avoid bickering as much as I wanted to kiss Pentronell on his darn lips. The desire was undeniably there, as well as was the denial.
