His baby feathers {Shinyo and Keigo}

The fight part 2

The mother of Keigo fought to get through the door, Shinyo leaned his back against it sending Keigo to unlock the window. Shinyo spread his wings and shot his feathers out holding the door shut as he went to go help Keigo unlock the window. He quickly ripped out the nails from the wood and unlocked the window. He unlatched the lock on the window and opened it, quickly retracting his feathers and picking up Keigo, the door finally opened and the woman fighting it fell on her face in front of the two, Keigo giggled quietly and Shinyo quickly flew out the window, hearing Keigo's mother scream as the two fly away. Keigo's mother didn't have wings like Shinyo and his son. Keigo got his wings from his father. Though he doesn't know how to fly. Not that it matters anyways because they're damaged so badly. His left was broken and healing and his right had burn marks and feathers missing. Odd. It sparked Shinyo's interest and he asked, "Hey, uh..how'd your wings get hurt baby feathers?..." Keigo chirped softly, scared to say. Shinyo sighed "Its okay baby feathers you can tell me I won't be mad." Keigo nodded softly "T-Trying to f-fly away f-from m-mom..." Shinyo paused growling internally at the stupid witch that was Keigo's mother. No she isn't even a mother, she was just blood to him. Shinyo softly replied "Oh? why were you flying away baby feathers?.." Keigo stayed silent. "Baby feathers?..." Shinyo got a bit worried and curious. Lifting his sons chin a tad to look him in the eyes "Its alright baby feathers, you can tell me..." Shinyo had a soft spot for the kid, thought he wouldn't admit it it was very clear. Keigo chirped "S-She was g-gonna h-hurt me... s-she was m-mad t-that I t-threw up on t-the c-carpet because of h-her c-cooking... s-she t-tried poisoning me, d-dad..." Shinyo paused and snarled that psycho. My god. That's it, Shinyo decided this was over and she has to go.
