A Month Later
Peter had promised Catalina that they would go down to the cinema because they were playing one of Peters 'classics' she agreed and both decided to go at 8:30, it was currently 7 and Catalina was getting ready she would've thought Peter was across the room from hers doing the same but it appears that he wasn't in the apartment at all.
Peter was now disguised as the well known as Spider-Man, she thought that he had stepped out to grab something for the hour that she was preparing to head out but it turned to 20 minutes on her waiting for him into an hour, they were behind an hour which would make them be a little late to the movies so she decided to meet him over there "Hey Peter your ass is late so I'll meet you over at the theater, see you." She sent a voice mail after Peter missed her call.
Peter had become unknown to the plans that they had tonight in the moment he was fighting against a group of men trying to steal a bank down the corner. The fight had lasted longer than expected and with him being bloody and bruised. Peter had thought he was done for the day sneaking into the fire escape to his window "Hey Catalina you up for some takeout." He yelled for the girl but seeing she wasn't in the apartment he checked his phone.
"Oh shit-"

Catalina had ended up watching the movie alone, she was bugged that Peter stud her up but she thought that he'd have to have a good reason. Hearing the apartment door close Peter didn't know if to hide from his face being bruised but he decided to apologize "Catalina I'm so sorry-" but he was stopped "Peter Parker you better have a good explanation for- what the fuck happened."
She examined the bruises seeing that someone did this "Oh this, I crashed into a poll." While she laughed in disbelief "yeah ran into someone's fist, come on niño." Leading him into the bathroom getting the first aid kit for some of the cuts he got "So what happened." He had seconds to think of an excuse "I was walking to the apartment and these guys came up, if you think this is bad you should see the other guys face."
"I bet, the movie was pretty good actually." She said aiding the cuts "You really think so, one of my favorites, so the Christmas is coming up." She had suddenly stopped but continued as she noticed that he noticed her blank of expression of Christmas "Yeah got any plans?" She kept the conversation as casual "Im gonna go spend it with my Aunt May, what about you."
"Um not sure probably just gonna spend it here." As she threw the cotton swabs away "And your all patched up Parker." She headed out of the bathroom to the living room turning the record player on "So your just gonna spend it here? What about visiting your family." He asked curiously "Family isn't an option for me." She went to sit down next to him on the couch.
"You can spend it with me and Aunt May if you'd like." Of course the two had known each other for for a two months but he couldn't let his only friend spend Christmas alone.
"It's okay, I really don't want to intrude-" she said "Please Catalina I want to show aunt May that I've at least made a friend coming to the 'real world'."
"Okay I'll go Peter only if you promise to not get your ass kicked again."
"Deal."
