"What is this about?" Raven asked as she walked into Clary's room at the institute

"What is this about?" Raven asked as she walked into Clary's room at the institute.

"I just wanted to say sorry." The redhead admitted.

The warlock raised her eyebrows. "Really?"

"Yes, I've been treating you horribly. I was just worried about Simon and my mom-"

"I get it." Raven said, walking over to her. "Just try not to be a total bitch next time? I may be a warlock but I don't put up with your attitude."

Clary chuckled slightly and pulled her into a hug. Soon later she pulled away and sighed. "Anyway, that wasn't the reason I called you here. Hodge wants us to talk to us about something. Said he knows a way we can get my memories back."

The warlock nodded and followed her out of the room. "I have to say, it would be nice to find your mother, she's a pain in the ass but I've been going crazy without her."

Clary glanced back at her with a smile as they entered the main room and joined Jace, Izzy, and Alec at a table.

Raven stared at Alec for a second then sighed. She was not able to talk to him after Jace blew up yesterday.

Hodge walked over a second later putting a collage of photos up on the screen. Raven's eyes widened when she realized it was her brother.

"Magnus Bane. He's over 300 years old." The ex-circle member explained.

"And as you can see, he's not exactly shied away from the pleasures of every century.."

Raven nodded in agreement, her brother loved to party.

"His tastes are both exquisite and quite excessive." The blonde went on, making the younger warlock frown.

"Looks like the Downworld's David Guetta." Clary added.

"Guetta's already a downworlder. Vampire? Ever seen him in the daylight?" Isabelle asked.

"Can you two focus?" Alec muttered. "This is not a joke."

Izzy sighed. "Someone needs to get slayed."

Raven felt a smirk creep across her face as she turned to the shadowhunter behind her. "I'm down if you are."

He shot her a look in response.

She shrugged. "Your loss."

"Alec's right." Hodge defended. "Now, Magnus is one of the most powerful warlocks I have ever known, besides Raven here."

The younger warlock smiled, "True."

"He has a deep mistrust of shadowhunters." He went on.

Clary huffed out a sigh, "Well, then why did he help my mom remove my memories? Isn't she a shadowhunter?"

"Yes, one of the best." Hodge nodded. "But "help" might not be the most accurate word."

He turned to the redhead. "Now, did Magnus provide a service for Jocelyn? Perhaps. But more than likely, your mother paid Magnus handsomely for his magic.."
