Raven sat on her older brother's couch, tossing a piece of paper up and down and up and down over and over.

"You said you loved him?"

The younger warlock groaned, blasting the paper to ash with a wave of purple flame. "Yeah, I kinda did.." Raven admitted, putting her hands over her face.

"Look, it's not as bad as you think. At least you didn't say the words 'I love you' right?" Magnus tried.

"I might as well have. He probably thinks I'm crazy."

The older warlock shrugged. "Who cares."

Raven's eyebrows furrowed, she looked up at him with a frown. "I care, I told a shadowhunter I love him."

"Go talk to him." Magnus said, waving his hand towards the door.

"Hell no! He'll laugh in my face." She stopped. "Well, actually, he doesn't really laugh or look at me.."

"Get your ass out of here before I drag you out by your hair, sister." Her brother warned.

"Wow, that's just cruel."

He folded his arms over his chest and raised one of his perfectly shaped eyebrows.

Raven groaned and slid off of the couch.

"Fine! But I'm not doing this because you told me to. I'm doing it because.. I want to."

He frowned at her response. "Right.."

Raven walked into the institute, ignoring the looks she received from the other shadowhunters.

"Raven?" A voice called from behind her.

The warlock spun around and saw Isabelle and Clary standing with some woman who had many of Izzy's features.

"Hey." The warlock said, expressing no emotion towards her.

"Who's this?" The older woman questioned, a cold expression on her face.

"Raven Bane, sister to Magnus Bane. The high warlock of Brooklyn." She introduced herself with a smirk.

There were only a few things she loved, partying, cats, and annoying the shit out of the Clave.

"You know this warlock?" The woman asked the redhead, sharply.

"Yeah, she's my best friend." Clary said with a smile.

"I'm also helping the shadowhunters find Jocelyn, the woman that may possess the one thing our world has been fighting for. So as much as you don't approve of me being here, I'm gonna be around a lot."

"Get used to it, honey."

Raven clicked her tongue and walked away, "Bitch.."

She searched around the institute, looking for Alexander.
