"KEY bring yo ass on man" I yell out from the front door of our childhood home. He taking hella long to find his shoes and he about to make me late for my flight. "Girl chill tf out Im coming". I roll my eyes at his response taking his keys off the rack and starting up his car. Opening passenger door to his bright yellow Maybach I take a seat knowing he finna take his time regardless. I placed my luggage in the trunk an hour ago and mfs still not ready. I should've told Dolph ass to take me to airport instead.
Seven minutes later the driver door open and Key gets into the car. "Alr you ready Leesy". Nigga I been ready but i just nod, not in the mood to back and forth with him. He finally takes off to the airport. "You spoke to Dougie he still picking you up right?" he asks. "Yea and he said he gon be there on time but i'm not expecting too much knowing him." Dougie is a fucking liar and he late to everything. He hums in response. I lay back cause i know we about an hour from the airport.
I'm moving up north the New York cause i wanted a change. Though, the Bronx isn't that much of change. I used to live there with my mother til i was 12 then I moved to Tennessee with my father. Key was my half brother but we don't really look at it like that.
I love Memphis but shi getting old and hoes constantly testing my gangsta. I keep getting arrested over lame ass females who ain't getting no money. So i said fuck it, i knew they wasn't gon leave me alone til i left. Not saying they ran me outta Memphis but i refuse to get caught in the cycle of arguing and jail when i got my money up and i look better than these brokies.
Plus i miss my cousin Dougie, i ain't seen him since two summers ago. I just hate that i have to leave my brother, this nigga my twin for real. But he gotta stay behind for his career. His label here and he repping the city, he obviously can't rep Memphis living in the Bronx. Niggas not going for that. And i'm grown asf i need to learn how to live without him anyway.
My phone began ringing, I answer the facetime call looking at the Id. "You left yet?" My bald headed daddy popped his head on my screen. "Damn you been waiting for me to leave huh?" Key laughing from he driver seat like shit funny. "Nah i was just asking. I wanted to talk to you before you got on the plane." I just nodded giving him a 'ok andddd?' face.
"When you get up there don't be acting a fool with yo bad ass cousin lil girl cause i'm already knowing how you are "
I can't help but laugh. "Don't do my cousin when he not here to defend himself" i respond. Dougie used to come stay w us during summers and vice versa, even though my dad and key not his family fr. We used to beg to see each other. Me and him gave my father hell every time he came down here. My favorite cousin on my momma side fr.
"Girl shut the hell up. Stay safe though and you better come back and see me soon" he said. I roll my eyes laughing, looking at him through the screen. "I ain't even leave yet and i just seen yo ass yesterday."
"I know but now i gotta deal with yo funky ass brother on my own"
Before i could respond, Key takes the phone out my hand. "Don't be taking about me baldy, i know where you lay yo head at."
"Boy fuck you"
I take the phone back laughing. This man a trip dawg. "Alright, love you I'll talk to you when I land" i said. "Love you too Lessy". The phone beeps as he hangs up.
I take Key aux and plug it into my phone already knowing what i was about to play.
"I GOT BIG ROCKS JUMPIN MY BRAND NEW PATEK WATCH ICE ICE BABY UN HUH I GOT A WHOLE LOT" i yell.
"Bro i'm so tired of you playing this old ass song" Key says annoyed.
"Nigga this yo song. fuck up". What he not gone do is disrespect this classic, fuck wrong with em.

We finally arrive at the airport. Me and Key get out, he helps me with my luggage. "Alright Key I'll see you" I say after forcing him to take me sum pictures. I hug him before stepping up onto the side walk.
"Love you Leesy imma miss you twin" he says.
"Love you too. I'll be back soon on lil Stevie." He just laughs getting back in his car. I watched him drive off before turning into the building.
I get to my gate after all the bullshit ass security checks. But i made sure to get some snacks and use the bathroom first cause i refuse to pee while the plane mid air. I go to my ig story posting one of the pictures Key took earlier.
