Part 10 - Goodbye

Enjoy the last part of the story.

It's been a week after Mishti's entry. Everything was getting back to place except Misha. Even though Mishti tried her best to be close to Misha, she couldn't get along well due to which mishti felt sad. However Abir tried to console through words, it was hard for Mishti. But at the same time kuhu and Mishti became close to each other. Kuhu tried hard to make Misha close with Mishti. She purposely maintained a distance from Misha.

One day, Misha was not well which made both the mothers in pain. Mishti couldn't tolerate her cries and tried hard to control her. Kuhu wanted to go pick Misha from Mishti but at the same tym she didn't want to also. She wanted them to be close. So she closed herself in the room and cried not able to bear her cries.

However abir and mishti tried to pacify Misha, it didn't work out and all the more she cried loudly. At last kuhu couldn't hear anymore. She went and picked up Misha from Mishti and started calming her. Even though initially Misha wasn't calming down, later she was okay. She fed baby by distracting her through plays and cooled her down.

Mishti and Abir was watching her from a distance. Tears formed in her eyes. She left from there without saying anything.

At night,
After giving medicines and making Misha sleep, kuhu took her to mishbir room. She knew Mishti would be missing Misha. After all she is her mother.

Before knocking she heard Mishti's cries. She hid behind the door.
Mishti : how long should I wait for Misha to get along with me? How much more....
Abir : Mishti.... Don't cry.... She will be back to you.
Mishti : today my daughter was in pain and I couldn't help her out. I'm her mother right? But she needed kuhu's presence........i know it's not that easy for Misha to get along with me as she hasn't seen me.......but my daughter in front of me getting along with my sister......... It's hard abir..... I know i shouldn't think like that but.... It's my motherly instincts and insecurities......till the time kuhu would be there Misha wouldn't come to me......
Abir : mishti, are you in your sense? What do you mean by that? Do you want kuhu to leave?? Do you how many times she has tried to leave as she felt Misha would be attached to her, but it was me who stopped her. As I felt she needed a mother's presence...... Mishti I know that I can't blame you but kuhu is not at fault here..... Let's wait.... I'm sure our daughter will be back to her mother..... What do you want in Misha?  Isn't her happiness. So let her take time and understand the reality.....
Mishti : I'm sorry abir.....

Kuhu had heard everything. She wiped the tears formed in her eyes. After taking a deep breath she knocked the door.

Abir opened the door. Kuhu went inside and layed Misha near mishti.
" She slept and I had given her medicine. She would be fine by tomorrow morning. And yeah.... She would not wake in between so no need to disturb my sleep.... "
She kissed Misha's forehead and bid goodnight.

Kuhu : Good night mishti and abir.
Mishbir : goodnight

Before leaving she hugged mishti and said, " I'm sorry " and left.

Next morning,
Everyone were a the dining table.
Abir : good morning everyone.
Others : good morning
Mishti : did she wake up?
Abir : Nope
Bm : thankfully, it wasn't easy yesterday.
Rest nodded their head.

Varsha : where is kuhu?
Mishti : I guess she also didn't get up.
Jasmit : like maa like daughter
Mishti's head fell down hearing that.
Jasmit : I didn't mean like that mishti
Mishti smiled at her.
Bm : don't wake her up.
Mishti : hmmm

After breakfast, Abir was moving to the terrace. He thought to wake kuhu. As it was going to be noon. Rest were busy with Misha. He knocked kuhu's room, but there wasn't any response.

He found out that the door was open. He went inside and called out but she wasn't anywhere. Where has she gone?  She wasn't there in the hall. He started searching for her. He found out a letter near the photo frame of abir's and Kunal. He picked it up.

" Hi bro,
I'm leaving home. It's high time and I think this is the best time to leave... Mishti is back and now I can easily be where I wanted as I don't have to worry about Misha. I know it would take time for Misha to get along with mishti but as long as I'm here she won't.

And bro....... a big thank you for being all there with me. It wouldn't be possible if you weren't there in my tears, happiness, along with Misha, and all those night drives...... You would have cursed me for destroying your sleep.... Hash tags..... Ha.... Ha....thank you so much bro...... Don't know if you wouldn't be there what I would have done........ Now have some family time and enjoy.

Tell others that I will be okay.........Specially maa and paa.

P.s - I'm not leaving forever, I will back soon..... ....

He folded the letter. There was smile and tears on his face. He didn't know how to react. What would he say to others. All he knew at the moment was he is gonna miss his crazy sister cum friend. All the moments they spent passed through his mind.
