It won't be a surprise but to see Cale and fam attending another one of the important royal banquets held in the capital of their motherland, the Roan Kingdom. After the defeat of White Star Organisation and taking care of the shit related to the sealed god, there were many, many things to be done. One of them was of course major events like banquets like these. Due to these banquets, not only trade relations got established and strengthened with many other kingdoms but also a new perspective to many of the transactions and relations between the countries improved.
It had already been more than four hours that Cale had to socialise with many of the people who attended the banquet. He first was approached by the unfamiliar people who the representatives of their own clans/counties/kingdoms from the Eastern and Western Continents.
The people who were actually affiliated to Cale and group were the last once to approach and spend time talking what not things. Cale's friends were also present obviously, but they had to also maintain their distance to one another and present themselves as their own people's representatives.
Cale held a glass of champagne in one hand while he tried to find a place to sit down for a while in the big banquet hall. He was talking with Lee SooHyuk and trying to find a way to stop people from approaching him. (ppl this is my AU, here characters are diff)
As the banquet was coming to an end, many people took their leave. It was probably just 40% of the people remaining, but the vibe was still strong of heavy enthusiasm.
"You're not gonna drink?" Cale asked Lee SooHyuk after sitting down on one of the sofas kept for the guests to rest their ass after dancing too much.
"It is probably spiked in one way or other, but sure, no one is gonna stop you."
"What are you saying there are hallucinogens or something in it?"
"It is a royal banquet, do the math, or meth if you prefer."
"Ha, Shit, you're such a party pooper" Cale said as he drained away the entire glass of alcohol in the plant beside the couch that he was resting on.
Everything was quiet and mellow. Nice lofi music was playing across the whole room. It really gave a vibe of being real royals of some kind. Cale though, did miss the electric-rock-hiphop-pop music from the Earth, but the music here was also quite mesmerising. It wasn't like traditional medieval/ Victorian music but it was nice upbeat and perfect in all sense type.
The crown prince/soon to be king came and sat down with the duo. He took a sip of water and drank a weird energy drink from his personal collection of energy drinks. He talked with Cale and his hyung, and just took a rest for few minutes. After a while, more of Cale affiliated people/ friends came and joined the trio. Choi Han, Rosalyn, Lock, Eruhaben-nim, Toonka, Witira, Paseton, Bud and such joined them. They all sat down on the sofas that were spread out. thy talked, ate and played different kinds of games( or at least watched the young nobles playing them).
