Covered in his own blood, when death looked inevitable and a long awaited dream shattered, Ravana saw his failures, he saw the fate of a great empire he built, he saw the hardships his pupil might face as a consequence of his actions. He was agonized by that pain of redemption rather than the one that was actually killing him. His senses were no longer under his control, awaiting death, he stayed on the ground surrounded by corpses of his own Lankan soldiers. Eyes fixed on the fast approaching arrow, he stayed there in silence accepting his fate, death was just a few meters away. Closing his eyes, he inhaled the life supporting element of nature for the one last time and embraced those final seconds he had. He knew he had no time written in his fate to let out that last breath before the arrow snatched it away from his lungs, but he was wrong, fate plays in mysterious ways and when you have the greatest illusionist on your side you can gamble with it and triumph.

Meghnadh was not any normal human, he was a complete warrior prince with inimitable abilities, he mastered all forms of combat skills and in addition, with sheer determination and passion he also managed to master the specials which were reserved only for the gods, the art of wielding and casting magical weapons and spells! He joined the elite list of wizards who were born as humans but raised to the stature of the Sorcerers, he was also the youngest in the history who achieved this feat. He did not stop after learning and mastering those skills, with all the knowledge he gained from his Gurus and the Gods, he developed his own style which was unconventional, he mixed magic with warfare techniques.

When the arrow was still in mid air, Meghnadh saw its trajectory, he knew where it was heading and realized he had no time to waste, he had to save his father before it reached its target. In the split second that Indra took to blink his eyes after releasing the arrow, Meghnadh managed to cast a spell of mirage and time loop over the battlefield. He reached his Father and tied a magical rope around his injury that stopped bleeding after which he placed him in his chariot and disappeared into the clouds. It appeared to everyone that Ravana was still on the ground wounded and bleeding but in reality he was transported by Meghnadh to the Lankan medical camp. He summoned the Lankan head Doctor who was treating the injured soldiers and ordered him to treat Ravana at once. After dealing with his immediate priority, saving the King of Lanka, Meghnadh went back to the battlefield before his spell of loop broke, he went back to the time when the arrow was about to hit Ravana.

Indra saw the arrow and he was confident of his strike but in the very next instant he realized something went off track, he believed that he defeated the Lankan king which undoubtedly meant victory to him but something looked odd. In the place where Ravana collapsed, stood Meghnadh with Indra's arrow in his hands, broken into two. With a rage emerging from within, the Prince charged at Indra who was still in a state of confusion. He was unable to retaliate when Meghnadh attacked, Airavath was the one to react in time, he took a leap and flew into the clouds while trying to bring back Indra into the present. He thought clouds were his safe place until Indra snapped out of the confusion but he was wrong, clouds were Meghnadh's playground. Casting a spell of magic, Meghnadh attacked Airavath with one of his strongest lightning strikes, Airavath immediately lost his consciousness and started falling to the ground along with Indra, Meghnadh caught them both mid air and landed them safely on the ground. He did not let Indra die in peace, he wanted to destroy Indra's pride before gifting him death.
