Bucky and Natasha didn't speak to each other. They were on a schedule. Bucky went to work from 7am - 4pm. When he came home Natasha went out until she returned home at 8:30pm. They would eat dinner in silence and they went to bed. Natasha slept in their double bed and bucky slept in their spare bedroom. This carried on for many weeks until one day;
"Natasha," Bucky broke the silence one dinner, "This needs to stop and I don't mean the silence, I mean everything! We need to be fun, we need to train our daughter! We need to do it together."
"James," Natasha stood up and sat on Bucky's lap, "I agree!"
Natasha planted a kiss on James' lips and cleared up the dinner table, James went upstairs and got changed for bed.
Bucky came down the stairs and hugged Natasha from behind, she was writing down what she was going to do tomorrow. Bucky took her notepad and threw it away. Natasha looked at him and if looks could kill, well... James would be gone.
"Let's not plan our days. I want everyday to be a surprise. Now, let's go to bed and we will see what happens tomorrow!"
Natasha followed James up the stairs and she stroked his cold, metal arm. Bucky laughed and grabbed Natasha. James got a burst of energy and threw Natasha in their room, she landed straight on the bed. The door slammed shut.
"Who said the surprises had to start tomorrow!"
