Chapter 8: Agreeing To A Party

"Hey Azie!!" Aiden and Noah run towards me and cling to my both arms making me startle

"Oh hey"I answer dryly

"Oh hey" Aiden mocks my statement

I give him a small invisible smile and continue to walk to my class not having any energy to talk to him right now because my mind is occupied with my parents. I have started to notice a few changes in my parent's relationship. Like before they used to be very fond of each other but not anymore. They both are avoiding each other completely and it's pretty obvious. 

There was a moment where my mom was serving the food and dad just tossed it saying it doesn't taste good. I saw how her face instantly dropped and I felt very bad for her. I don't know why they are being like this even if I ask my mom always says it's nothing. 

In the morning I made breakfast because my mom was sleeping and my dad left without saying anything to us. I went to her room to check on her. She was sleeping on her left side. I noticed a bruise on her neck but I ignored it knowing she will not give me any truthful answer. I have been noticing lots of bruises and marks on her body lately and it twists my stomach. I just then left her to continue her peaceful sleep. She looked very peaceful and calm while sleeping.

"Oyye are you there?" Aiden breaks my thoughts

"Oh umm yeah sorry what were you saying?" I ask

"Why are you being weird? I have been noticing you and for the past few days, you are acting very suspiciously. Is there anything you hiding from me?" he asks raising his brow at me

"No no the-res nothing I'm just umm stressed lately with school works and all" I explain

"You sure?"

"Yeah of course why would I lie to you?" I turn at him

"I wasn't saying you were lying but I feel a bit off that's why"he looks at me up and down

I nervously smile and continue to walk

"So are you coming to the party?" Noah notices my awkwardness and changes the subject

"What party?" I play along a bit relieved knowing he did that.

"Oh didn't Sadie tell you?" he asks slightly taken back

"Ahh no she didn't. Am I missing something?"

"Ofc you are!"Aiden shouts making me flinch at his sudden outburst

"The fuck you are shouting for!" Noah himself shouts to him

"Look who is telling that!"Aiden shouts

"fuck mate shut up!"Noah says

"Excuse you don't tell me to shut up!"

I look at each other not knowing what to do. They both were talking just fine and now they are shouting. What's wrong with them? I could feel all the eyes on us and I wanted to run from here. I look around me and students by student start to gather.

"Uhmm guys why are you shouting? All the students are looking at both of you?" I try to break their unnecessary argument

"This asshole just shouted at me for no reason and you want me to shut up?" Aiden asks glaring at Noah

"You were the one who started this whole fucking thing I swear to god if you don't stop this I'm going to smack you right here," Noah says

"Ohh Wow really.. Ok fine come on let's do a one on one and If you lose you have to buy the Call Of Duty latest version for me," Aiden says pretending to roll his sleeves.
