Chapter 10

They are nervous, seriously they are. Currently in Jungkook's mom house, of course he and his friends invited you in, Jungkook's mom served you a food, while you are sitting in front of her, she is actually unsure if you will like the food, because the way you look, it's not like you eat these kind of foods, you can feel how she feels, and it's not about the kind of the food, it's the effort she puts in. ''I'm not really sure if you eat these kind of foods.'' she shyly smiled at you and you bowed a little taking the spoon ''Thank you Ma'am.'' you said tasting it and all of them leaned in, waiting for your reaction, you tasted it and a smiled appear on your face and they dig in with you, when they saw how you enjoyed the food. You smiled seeing them Jungkook is chuckling while making jokes to his mom, while the other chuckles as well. You never knew a meal could be so much fun. Soon plates are empty, and Yugyeom and Tae insisted to wash the dishes while Yoongi is busy playing with Jungkook's dog. You stand up staring at the frames that are displayed in his house. Jungkook stand beside you ''is your car's wheels still four?'' he asked and  you nodded your head ''That's good then, because they are some children get it but it rarely happens, maybe once in a blue moon.'' he said and you felt relief, your eyes stares at the frames.   You can see  a small version of him with a wide smile on his face, you chuckled when Jungkook covered the other frame which have a picture of him with chocolates on his teeth  ''it's cute.'' you said and he shyly chuckled rubbing the back of his neck, a picture took your attention it's him, with a seems like older brother, but they both still are young, like JK as 5 years old and the older kid seems like a 7 years old. ''It's me and my brother.'' Jungkook said behind you ''where is he?'' you asked and he shook his head ''he passed away from an accident.'' and your eyes changes and he can see it he smiled to assured you ''It's okay, you don't have to be a sorry.'' you looked at him ''He's actually not my brother in my mom's side.'' he said and you listened ''one day my dad, want to tour my older brother in our town and they got into accident together.'' you can still see how much his eyes changes ''All I have left from my brother is this.'' he showed you a necklace, ''only me and my brother have this, cause my dad made it for us.'' he uttered while staring at the frame, you tapped his back and smiled at him. He smiled back ''how's the chocolate?'' you teased him staring back to his childhood frame and he laughed while you continue to tease him.

''oh, how much I miss these couple.'' Jimin uttered  and Taehyung couldn't agree more ''she doesn't even look good with that Ho guy.'' Yugyeom uttered ''it's Hoseok.'' Taehyung corrected ''Atleast it still a HO.'' Yugyeom let out and Yoongi sighed ''Has he told her the truth?'' Taehyung suddenly asked ''He can't'' Yoongi uttered ''he think it's his fault.'' Yoongi added ''It was just an accident, though.'' Taehyung let out ''well he believes that the accident wouldn't happen because of him.'' Jimin let out and Yugyeom sighed ''I just wish her memories to come back.''

''Thank you Ma'am.'' you bowed to his parent with a smile on your face ''I had so much fun.'' you added and she smiled at you ''I'll go ahead Ma'am.'' his mom nodded ''take care both of you.'' you nodded your head and Jungkook hugged his mom before leaving with you, ''they aren't coming?'' you asked and Jungkook shook his head, hand in his pocket ''They'll sleepover.'' he said and you nodded your head taking your steps with him. ''why are you here by the way?'' he asked and it took seconds before you answer ''I'm searching for a wedding reception.'' and his heart drops but he smiled ''do you like this place?'' you nodded your head ''it's the best place.'' you let pu out and suddenly the air is tensed. Jungkook to be honest felt like, he want to tell you the truth now ''y/n.'' you hummed in response. ''I actually--'' his words are cut off when your phone rang and you excuse yourself for a second before answering it ''oh Hoseok- ah'' and Jungkook stay in silence ''alright, I'm coming home.'' you said talking to him through the phone and it took seconds before the call ended ''is he gonna fetch you?'' you shook your head ''He's busy with a meeting.'' you said and he chuckled sarcastically ''Can't he just, take you home first?'' he asked and you sighed ''It's a important meeting Jungkook.'' he breathed out eyes on you ''Aren't you important?'' and his question made you speechless to the point you can't just utter any word for that sentence. ''I'll go ahead.'' you said ''I'll drive you ho--'' you shook your head, rejecting his offer ''No, thank you, I can manage.'' you answered and he looked down you just put a line between the both of you. ''Okay then'' he said taking a back step, ''Bye.'' he said turning his back, he's offended when you rejected his offer. Literally leaving you now, you sighed  holding the knob of your car door. and that's when you realize your wheels are not four. ''Damn it.'' you cursed under your breath, leaning your head on the car door, you can't just call Hoseok, he definitely told you he's in the meeting that cannot be canceled. As for Jungkook you can't call him back, you already rejected his offer and he already left minutes ago. You looked around the street, heck there are no cars passing by now, since its night, you felt a presence behind you, and you looked back, and it's him standing behind you. 

''Wanna sleep over?''

Took days before I manage to update, this past few days guys, I'm busy with holidays, you know I bond with my family, and when I had a free time with myself I review because as soon as the first day of school this 2022, I have a defense in research, I'm really really nervous for that day.  so my update are kind a late. I hope you guys enjoyed your holidays too! Keep safe everyone!
