how a bad dream turned into something good

Your POV:
Sarah and I sorted everything out, spent christmas together and since I'm still in LA and tonight ist new years eve we're going to spend that together too. Sarah and I accidentally bought the same christmas present for each other. I bought her a neckless with the first letter of my name and she bought me a neckless with an ,,S'' for Sarah of course.

We decided that we're going to spend the new years eve without any friends since it's our first one as a couple. We wanted to have a chill day at home and at around 11pm we would go to the beach.

Time skip
,,Honey are you ready to leave now?'', Sarah yelled from the living room. ,,Yes I'm coming down in a minute, let me just find what I am looking for.'' I responded. I wanted to suprise Sarah with tickets for a Stevie Nicks concert. Since it's her but also mine favourite and I knew they were friends, because Stevie filmed some parts of AHS Coven with her. As I headed down the stairs I saw Sarah already standing at the door with her puffy birkenstock and her blue coat. God how can this woman always wear birkenstock no matter how bad the weather was. I mean the weather in Los Angeles is never bad but today it was a lot colder. ,,What were you looking for?'' she asked while I was putting on my Nike AirForce1. ,,It's a suprise honey you have to wait till midnight. Come on now lets go.''

Sarahs POV:
Through the drive to the beach my mind was still trying to figure out what this suprise could be and before I knew we were already at the beach. But I had a suprise for y/n too. I really love her and I hope she's saying yes. I mean if I could I would marry her right know but thats not an option. At least not now. Step by step, everything will come full circle.

I took some blankets out of the car and spread them on the sand so y/n and I could lay down. Y/n was sitting in front of me leaning her head on my chest while my head was resting on her head giving her some kisses here and now. The beach was supriseingly quiet which was actually a good thing, so we could enjoy it more.

,,Sarah?''

,,Yes honey?''

,,I just want you to know how much I love you and I hope that we're going to have a bright future''

I saw some tears escaping her eyes to I took her cheeks in my hands and kissed her. It was a loving kiss - like our first one (before it got heated)

,,I love you too y/n and I can't wait to spent the rest of my life with you''

I took a quick glance at my phone and saw that it was almost midnight. ,,C'mon honey let's stand up its almost midnight.'' I said slowly getting up. We got up and since y/n was a little taller than me I stood in front of her and she wrapped her arm securely around me. We turned around so we could see the city and there were already people yelling. And y/n started whispering in my ear.

Your POV:
We shared some more kisses before I started to pull away. ,,Wait Sarah I have something for you'' I slowly pulled the two ticked out of my jacket and hsnded them to her. ,,STEVIE NICKS TICKETS'' Sarah started yelling ,,FUCKING STEVIE NICKS    Y/N THANK YOU SO MUCH I LOVE YOU I LOVE LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU.'' All I could do was to giggle at her childishness. But I love everything about her even her childish manners.
,,Oh wait y/n I have something for you too'' she said pulling a purple box out of her pocket. She handed me the box and I opened it. ,,A key?'' I questioned ,,Well you already have the key to my heart so this is the key to my house'' Sarah said biting her lip nervously. I didn't quite understand what the wanted to tell me with that and why she was so nervous about it. ,,You're giving me your spare key?'' I asked confused ,,God no silly. I'm asking you to move in with me!'' ,,Really?'' I said now understanding whats going on ,,Yes y/n I love you, so I'm asking you, again, would you like to move in with me?'' ,,YESS'' I screamed, picked Sarah up and started kissing her. Our make out session got heated really quickly but before something could happen I interuppted ,,Lets continue this at home shall we?'' Sarah just noddend and gathered our thing together.
