Chapter 6 | The Date

"Hey Chifuyu?" Baji asked. "Yeah?". "Are you free on New Year?" He asked me. "Uh yeah I'm pretty sure I am." I replied. "Well, would you wanna go and hang out with me during New Year? Like we could get dinner you know, and then go watch firework's together.." he said. "Sure. What time?" I happily accepted. "How about ten pm? Since the fireworks start at twelve we will have like two hours to eat dinner." Baji replied. "Okay then." I smiled.

"First our goal here is to make Hanagaki's life miserable, were going to do this by making his friends leave him one by one." Kisaki said. "Aww I like the way you think~ So who's our first target?" Hanma asked. "We're going for Chifuyu Matsuno, It looks like he's the closest one to Takemichi, so what you need to is get as much information about him. Then we will plan." Kisaki explained. "Okay~ ♡" Hanma agreed.
"He's a perfect puppet."

Baji's POV

Okay I'm going to ask Chifuyu out on New Years. It's a big risk but it's now or never. I borrowed some money from Koko he said to pay him back but eh.. I decided to go and buy an outfit with the money Koko gave.

I'm actually pretty nervous..

Chifuyu's POV

Me and Inupi are shopping for some clothes since tomorrow me and Baji are going out and I want to wear something nice. "How about this?" Inupi asked. It was an teal kimono with white flowers. "It's perfect!" I said immediately taking the kimono. I went to the cashier and bought it, though it was pretty expensive.. But I'm sure it's worth it! I can't wait!!

31 December

Two more hours till I'm going with Baji, Takemichi and Inupi came to help me get ready. "Okay so, we still have two hours." Inupi said. "We can play video games for an hour, then Chifuyu can go shower and get ready for his date!" Takemichi said. "It's not a date!" I yelled. "Yeah right!" He yelled back. "So we're gonna play or?" Inupi asked.

{1 hour later}

"Okay Chifuyu go shower then we will do your hair." Inupi said giving a towel to me. "Okay!" I took the towel and went to the bathroom. "Don't go through my stuff Takemichi!" I yelled. "Whatever..!" He yelled back.

I was done showering and Inupi did my hair and helped me wear my kimono. I'm really nervous..

what if I mess up?

"OI CHIFUYU!" Takemichi yelled. I finally snapped out of my thought. "What?!" I asked. "It's time, you got to go now." Inupi said. "Okay, well I'm going.." I said grabbing my keys and walking to the door. "Bye! Have fun!" Takemichi said.

Baji's POV

I was waiting for Chifuyu at the meeting spot and after a while he finally came..
He was wearing a beautiful teal kimono the color matched his eyes. "Sorry to keep you waiting." He spoke. "I-It's alright.." I said. I couldn't stop staring after a while my eyes landed on his lips but I soon realised I was staring for way to long. "Oh sorry! Uhm, let's get going.." I told him. "Okay!"
We walked to the restaurant and had a small chat. "Wow, this is a fancy restaurant Baji-san." Chifuyu said. "Well what are we waiting for? Let's go in." I said before holding grabbing his hand and going in. I may or may not have done that on purpose just so I can hold hands with him.
