The next morning, you were awake earlier than usual, per Doyoung's suggestion. You couldn't even stay for breakfast at the normal time if you wanted to be back home with enough time to get settled back into your apartment and take care of anything you needed for school the next day.
"Love," Doyoung caught your attention as you were packing up what few things of yours had been strewn around the room.
"Hm?" You replied, snapping your eyes over to him attentively. He was dressed back in the hoodie and jeans he'd worn on the trip over, the softness of it bringing a fond smile to your lips.
"You said you know Jungwoo, right?"
"Yeah, and his brother Sungchan."
"I think you should spend your free time during the week training with him. He knows quite a lot about Onmyoji, Ayakashi, and Wraiths. Definitely more than Chanshik does."
You tilted your head curiously at his mention of the older Erethulian, "Chanshik?"
"He talks about how much he misses training Onmyoji at every meeting we've had."
"I'm guessing that's him subtly dropping hints."
"It's your choice, but I think Jungwoo would be a better mentor, unless you know another Onmyoji."
"I don't think I do," you said as you began struggling to stuff the multitude of blankets back into your duffel bag. "But I think I'd rather train with Jungwoo when I'm home, that way I can just spend time with you when I'm here. Weekdays I'll be home doing school and training with Jungwoo, then weekends I'm here with you."
Doyoung nodded at your recitation of your agreed-upon schedule, and added, "And I'm coming back with you today to make sure you get back safe, and to give my formal resignation to Kun."
"The end of an era," you feigned playful wistfulness as you were gently nudged out of the way for Doyoung to neatly fold your blankets up.
"You should just leave these here, since you'll just be back on Friday."
"True, but I definitely need to bring the little red one back, that's Taeyong's favorite napping blanket."
He nodded, putting said blanket into your backpack as he returned to your previous conversation, "I'll always value my time with the Qians and as Kun's personal assistant, but this is where I should be. Where I want to be, other than with you."
You snuck a quick peck to his cheek, "I love you, snowflake."
"I love you too."

Standing outside the Erethulian side of the entrance to the tunnel, you turned to the small group of Erethulians who had come to see you off. You wrapped your arms around Minhee to give her a tight hug, one which she reciprocated.
"Jeez, I always forget how warm you are, Onmyoji," Minhee breathed out. "You're like the Sun."
"Aw, Min—"
"A burning ball of gas."
Letting go of her, you gave her a frank look, "Thanks, Minhee. See you soon."
"Bye, Onmyoji."
Chanshik gave you his own beaming goodbye, and Chaewon offered you a curt nod. You still didn't know if she liked you or not. Doyoung took your hand, which you were now free to do as there were only two bags to carry between the two of you, both of which were rather light due to you leaving quite a bit of the heft in the Yearling Quarters. Every blanket except the little red one, and most of your heavy overcoats that didn't need regular washes unlike your longsleeves, crewnecks, and hoodies. The temperature back home was warming up, you wouldn't be needing any of the heavy layers for quite some time other than in Erethulia.
