~~~~~~~
You were Striker's daughter. He never wanted kids, much less a girl- 'sexist' is a big word, but he does hold a couple messed up views. And to add to that, you were incompetent, making yourself a dissapointment in his eyes. Plus, you were very shy, making socializing tough.
Of course, your relationship was not completely horrible- you had bedtime stories every one in the while when you had a hard time sleeping, and when you were younger, you had many rides on his shoulders. He did love you, he was just extremely dissapointed in you- the truth is, parents can truly love a child and still hurt them deeply.
Thankfully, what you didn't have in strength you made up for in smarts. This provided opportunities to spend time with your dad, as he had a couple large projects he couldn't quite figure out on his own. But apart from that, he found no use in you.
Today, you two were going to the Tough N' Tumbleweed Ranch owned by Lin and Joe. You met them a couple of times, and they were honestly not that bad, despite the fact they weren't a big fan of your weakness. You were ashamed to admit you enjoyed their company more than your own dad's.
Before hopping onto Bombproof, Striker faced you, a firm scowl on his face. "Doll, talk to me."
"Yes, pa?" You automatically responded without protest.
"Promise me you won't cause a scene. If me or my bosses want you to do something, you do it. I don't care if you're physically incapable- You are not gonna give me a bad name. Understood?" He ordered as he raised your chin, forcing you to make eye contact.
You nodded, your eyes facing his boots. "Yes, pa."
He grinned, getting on his horse. "Good. Now hop on."
You sat behind him, wrapping your arms around him for support. Immediately, Bombproof rode against the stale dirt as minutes passed. All Striker could focus on was getting to the ranch.
Eventually, you reached the ranch, where a group of imps and a hellhound were waiting. Your dad hopped off the horse, pulling you off as well.
"Folks, I would like to introduce you to my daughter, (Y/N). She's met a couple of y'all, but she can't socialize to save her life, so better off not talking to her." He introduced.
You winced a little, but it's not like he was wrong. And even if he was, you promised not to cause a scene.
The reddish one waved a little as she held her presumed-husband's hand, the boss barely nodded 'hello', and the hellhound kept staring at you. A bit creepy, but okay.
You watched as your dad proceeded to flirt with the reddish one, which made your blood boil. I mean, come on- first of all, he was most likely a lot older than her, and second of all, she's MARRIED. You were tempted to yell at him, but god knows the result of that, so you stayed silent.
You scooted next to the hellhound, who only smirked at you. "Hey."
You awkwardly waved, not sure how to respond.
"You know, your dad sounds like a dick, but you seem interesting. What's your name, little girl?" She asked.
You wanted to tell her to mind her own buisness, but again, the promise not to cause a scene.
"I... Er... (Y/N). From- From the wrath r-ring." You stammered, unsure why your mouth was not working with your brain. Oh god, that must have sounded so stupid.
She only snickered, though it was lighthearted. "I'm Loona. You got a cute name. Wonder if you sound cute too- whenever it would be screaming, or... Whichever you'd like, really."
