I left dinner for you as you probably noticed, I had an emergency meeting in San Diego and had to leave immediately. I won't be back until next Monday. I told the neighbors to keep an eye on you and left $300 for the week. Have fun and I love you!!

Great. I run downstairs and eat what my mom left me. Suddenly I get a text from an unknown number.

I shut my phone off and walk to my bedroom. It has been a very long day. As I lay down after I put my pajamas on I heard a thud on my window. I get up and open the window. There stood James, waiting throwing rocks at my window. "James, what are you doing?" I whisper yelled. "I wanted to talk to you!" He whisper yelled back. I rolled my eyes and told him to come to the front door. When I let him in he looked confused as to why my parents weren't coming to see what was happening. "My mom is on a business trip and my dad died three years ago." I told him. He looks at me with sorrow, but smiles again probably remembering that we were alone. "Don't get any ideas." I said when he did something weird with his eyebrows.

We have been talking on the couch for about 2 hours when James asks a weird question. " An? How weird would it be if I kissed you?" That took me back a bit. Nobody has EVER said anything like that to me ever. I've never been kissed. "Why?" I asked bluntly. Crap, that wasn't supposed to sound that way. "Because you're beautiful, and super charming." He winked at the last part. I laughed and realized, what's holding me back? Nothing. I grabbed his collar and kissed him full on the lips. He was stunned for a second but caught up and returned the kiss. I pulled away and looked him straight in the eye. "That was..." He trailed off. "Amazing, I know." We laughed and kissed again. Eventually we fell asleep right there on the couch.
