"I feel your turmoil. I know, it's meaningless to tell you to be strong." She said gently holding his hand. "I was 10 when I lost my younger brother to a fire accident. It was Diwali that day. Favourite of mine and his. It still haunts me, every day! I see nightmares. Moving on isn't easy. Indeed more difficult than what it's assumed to be."

"I fear fire. I indeed run away form my fears. I don't really have a right to say anything. But, you don't have a choice. Do you? If you don't see a doc, you get consumed by fear. You crossed the peak point. It's time to fight right! Maybe, I too would, when I reach that peak point." She said calmly.

Shaurya looked at her surprised. He wasn't in a position to understand long motivational speeches, and she knew it very well. Her statement from personal experiences showed a great impact on him.

"I don't have a choice! Dieing every second is worse than facing fear." He sighed.

"You can't surive all alone neither with the fears, nor with the disease. You need to sort it out!" She continued patting on his shoulder. "We are with you! Think about it! Take some time!"

"Yeah!" He nodded, standing still."Take me home... will you?" His voice was soft and quiet.

"Yeap!"Anokhi accompanied him to his home on taxi.

"I'm sorry it's already 10 and I'm bothering you. You take my car." He said.

"Luckily it's a busy and safe city. And I'm sure, you will be there on my side, when I need you!"She said confidently.

“Anokhi!" He whispered watching her walk back to the cab.

“Uh..." She turned back.

“Thank you!" He hugged her. He was thankful to her and comfortable too. She was after all a good friend.

She subtly smiled and patted on his back gently.

She waved at him, telling her address to the driver.

Shaurya's mom seeing them from the balcony was amused noticing Shaurya standing there on road, with an affectionate smile until Anokhi disappeared.

As he was climbing the steps, their interactions replayed in his mind. Silent war in art exhibition, cold war in metro, student, then friend, good friend, now close friend. They had come a long way.

"Guess what, two business rivals were at auction taking pride in buying  the same painting. Severe their cold war, more is the profit. Guess what, one made the other buy 4 lac worth painting for 35 lacs." The manger called Anokhi the early morning.

"Insane! We should be sending our paintings to them." She said uninterested. She hated anything that disturbed her sleep.

"Guess what! It's your painting!" He said.

"WHAT? Is that the good news you were speaking about the other day?" She screamed waking up her sleepy soul. The artwork that made huge amount was personally her least favourite among the recent ones.

“No, that's a different news. Magical Arts is having golden phase. Four of you will be soon reaching peaks in career. Two guys from interior designers teams are shortlisted alongside you and Shaugun. Yours and Shaugun's latest  submissions really bewitched.... you know whom?"
