"People are falling for anyone anytime, and breaking up anytime. Relationships are a joke these days. There are no concepts like commitment and trust. If you are loyal and serious, you get to guard and spy on your partner. " Shaurya's dad mumbled scrolling news article covering another celebrity couple splitting.
"They don't realise thin line between attraction and love!" He continued criticising.
"Anokhi likes or me loves me? She is just shaken or sure? What if I'm just a random crush she loses interest in later!" Shaurya thought.
It was in his mind even when he was driving to coaching centre. He could barely focus on anything. He parked the car near a park and was making calculations, smiling awakwardly at his students who happened to walk by.

"Aahir.....what is it called when you neither want to date a particular person, nor want that particular person to date others, and also you don't want to date others?" Shaurya called Aahir.
"That's confusion!" Aahir said. The question sounded pathetic to him. This time he didn't take anytime to decode whom Shaurya was talking about. He was mocked enough by Shaugun for his inability to crack what was SHAKHI.
"How do you know someone genuinely likes you and not just attracted? How exactly do we interpret." Shaurya continued though he knew the answer.
"Time and situations tell everything." Aahir never thought somebody like Shaurya, a person with good understanding skills would consider him a love guru.
"There is a friend of mine, who likes a person but couldn't feel soulmate connection.... a spark that makes you long for them in your life! He is afraid he might realise later that they aren't meant to be together." Shaurya's questions confirmed to Aahir how the former was afraid of heartbreaks. Either his or hers. He didn't want either of them to hurt the other.
"You can't force anything. Something that's forced won't last longer. Take time. I mean tell your friend to take time." Aahir sighed.
"BTW, how come you and Shaugun are so sure about one another? How do you know?"
"We met in a grand wedding My college senior's and her closest cousin's. We crashed there for 9 days. They were some games, funny interactions going on every day. Her point of views were new to me. Mine are new to her. Our attitudes, likes, nature everything was distinct. I was hyper active teasing my friend and organising. She was reserved and helping me while going with the flow, doing what she liked. Opposites attract theory did work. We both were dragged to eachother, like never before. We were talking and knowing eachother the following days. Exchanged numbers on last day. Then talked, talked a lot. And we are now together."
