Ps: Lui is taller than Shu. Lui is 16, Shu is 14 in this oneshot.

The day before Christmas, everyone preparing for that one awaited day to celebrate it with utmost delicacy. Yet one little poor albino could barely focus on the present, regretting his past deeds.

Shu sighed again, sitting on the sofa, burying his face in his palms. Again thinking about the past and the failure he faced recently after trying his best to make someone turn back from the path of darkness once he chose.

“Oih! You sighed for the 20th time just now,” Lui said plopping down beside him.

Shu replied in a tired voice not even bothering to move. “Tsk. Stop counting, Lui! Just.. leave me alone.”

Lui could feel the sadness and anxiety just by hearing his voice. He didn’t like to see the albino in such a sorry state. Even people like Shu who always bottle up their emotions and act brave can become fragile like glass sometimes. It’s like if there was someone who would throw some humiliating words straight at his face now, he wouldn’t be able to hold back his tears.

Knowing Lui, he always liked to mock people but seeing Shu like this, he couldn’t even think of it. He reached out his hands and wrapped the small frame protectively as Shu let his head fall onto his boyfriend’s chest.

“Stop thinking about it.” Lui stated as he gently ran his fingers through the albino's soft locks. “You tried to help Lean but he didn’t understand. It’s not your fault. Now, whatever will happen, let it be. You tried your best and that’s more than enough.”

“But-" Shu started but was cut off by Lui suddenly cupping his cheeks and lifting up his face, making him look face to face.

“Look at me, Snowflake. Calm down.”

Shu found himself staring at Lui's deep violet eyes as his cheeks flushed to a light baby-pink color. Lui slowly leaned closer connecting the gap between them. Shu's eyes widened although he saw that coming.  A second after, his eyes fluttered close, melting into the love and gentle caring his lover shared. The heat on his cheeks increased more and more with each passing second as Lui pulled him closer. One hand wrapped around his waist  and the other behind Shu's head pressing their bodies together.

Shu didn’t kiss back, nor pulled away. Melting in Lui’s passionate moves on his soft pink lips, he forgot all the anxieties.

After a minute, they pulled away panting slightly. Lui caressed Shu's cheeks, “I don’t like it when you are depressed. Forget about that incident, please?”

Shu looked away, “But it reminds me of my past self. I can’t let another person do the same mistake I did.”

“Snowflake, look at me.” Lui held his cheeks in both of his palms and made Shu face him. “You tried your best, now it’s time to let it go. You can’t change someone if that person himself doesn’t want to understand, can you?”

Shu remained silent, looking down, not wanting to meet Lui’s gazes right now. “I hurt so many people. I'm so lucky that after all I did, you guys forgave me.” Tears slipped away form his eyes as he quickly wiped them.

Lui hugged him protectively and patted his back. “Let it out.”

Hearing these three words, Shu felt assured. He buried his head on Lui’s chest and finally found the courage to hug him back. He broke into sobs as he felt the other hugging him tighter.
