The Perfect Bond (Part- 2)

It had already passed a week since the sports' day. A lot of things changed in a week. Free would pick Shu up from home to school every single day. Not that they were dating. It was just an excuse Free made to spend time with the albino saying Shu still had pain in his ankle and he was just taking care of a friend as his duty. But the real feeling inside was a lot deeper than that. Little did the blond know, he had already fallen for the little beautiful snowflake.

"Free! My leg is totally fine now. You can stop taking care of me like a little child." Shu pouted as he saw Free waiting outside his house again.

"Why? You don't like my company? Just say so," Free made a sad face looking downwards. It wasn't that he was sad, it was his trick because he actually knew it pretty clearly that Shu is soft-hearted person who'll surely try to cheer him up in the next moment.

And just as Free guessed, Shu almost instantly replied, "No, no! I didn't mean that. I mean-"

"What do you mean then?" Free raised his head and stared directly in his eyes.

Shu looked away, "I mean... I'm sorry if what I said hurt you but," he fidgeted his fingers backing a step away.

Free leaned closer, not sparing a single moment of gazing at the albino. "But what?" 

Shu took a deep breath, "It feels weird. I mean I have never been so close to someone except Valt and I stay alone most of the time, so," he stopped for a second to choose his words.  "I am not used to the company all the time. It's uncomfortable. Please leave me alone!"

Shu shut his eyes tightly cursing at himself for whatever he said just now. He never wanted to hurt someone but his words were too harsh, he understood. Should he apologise now? But what he told was the truth. It did felt somewhat uncomfortable. It was like someone was stalking him in front of his eyes. And the thought of someone stalking him opens up a stream of fearful past memories which he wanted to forget for good.

He opened his eyes as he heard a chuckle. Free petted his hair mumbling, "You're cute."

Shu tilted his head dumbfounded. "Huh?"

"Nothing." Free said ruffling his hair. "Then, you go ahead first. I just remembered I have something important to do."

"Hm, okay," Shu turned on his heels heading for school. He felt so relieved that he was again back to his own personal space but a tiny part of him missed the company of the blond. He decided to ignore it.

On the other hand, Free stayed still where he was standing, looking at the albino go. He would love to follow him but Shu told him not to.

It hurt. He felt a sudden stinging pain in the heart as soon as he recalled the words from his loved one 'please leave me alone.' He just pressed down the feeling and faked a slight laugh. He wasn't going to give up that soon.

Shu, the white haired cute albino he met on the sports day became someone who made his heart race and cheeks flush whenever he was arond. It was an unknown yet such a pleasant feeling he never felt before. He felt that way since the day he met. Is this the thing called love at first sight? He thought clueless, immersing himself in his own trail of thoughts.

The more he thought about the feeling, it only reminded about the time they spent together, from going to school and the little chit-chats in the libray. Well, it was Shu who used to go to the library for studying. For Free, studying was just a mere excuse to stay a little longer beside the albino. He was never that clingy to someone, was he?

His thoughts were cut off and he again came back to reality as someone exclaimed from behind, "Hey Free!"

He turned around to see a clumsy blunette running to his direction. A simle automatically creeped on his features. Fee waved, "Hi! Valt."

Wait.. if Valt is running to school now. That means...

"Run! Free! We're gonna be late for school!!" and he didn't even need to finish his thought. Reality hit him. Just how long was he just standing there and thinking about Shu that he lost track of time?

Oh shoot! I better start running too. Free thought as he joined Valt.

In the end, they both made it to school in time but what shocked Free to death was, Shu wasn't present in the class.

But he started for school sooner, so he should have reached here by now... Then, where is he?

A/N: I wrote after quite a while, so, I wanna ask if my writing style has worsen. Please reply honestly. If it has worsen, please let me know. I'll work harder to make it better in sha Allah.

And I'm sorry bcz this chapter didn't have any good event or so...
